No, the Colleges poured in monies for eons, then used that money they started getting in TV Revenue in the 1980s to build the stadiums and put forth other college entities et al.

The mistake was not just putting Texas AM on probation for cheating when Jumbo paid all those players to sign a few years back instead of paying players.

I hope they return to the old ways, If not I will not watch, haven't watched since 2019.

Didn't 2007 LSU have 2 loses and a bunch of close calls? That kind of explains why it was an anomaly, they won the title only because no one else wanted it that year, in other words everyone else lost also, and I think Kansas had what 1 loss but was not accepted as a title contender and finished 7th behind 6 two loss teams.

They beat Florida by 4, Tenn. and Bama by 7 and Auburn 6.

And their two losses were both in 3 OT to Kentucky and Arkansas.

Those Two OT game which made their defensive scoring states shoot up much higher may have thrown of the numbers also, Kentucky scored 43 and Arkansas 50.

Thats not what I heard but if you go to Stassen.com and type in the years 1948-1963 Ole Miss had the best winning percentage in all o college football. When you do that over a 15 year period no one can say they have no tradition, now Miss. St. has no real tradition, they know it, Ole Miss does.

Instead of Kirby or Saban (who retired because of this horse-crap) being able to mold young boys into young men, we now have FREE FOR ALL CHAOS, You and Indiana did not get better, the system just robbed the people who knew how to promote young boys into grown men with one cause, and with one mind, instead, EVERY YEAR you got players switching damned teams, which creates chances for average teams to rise WHY? You have created chaos who Kirby can't keep players around for 4 years.

Its like letting ALL of the NFL players swap every year, that would also bring stupid chaos. It boggle my mind that people watching football for years (60 for me) can't see that these teams all suck. I saw how many 3-0 and 7-3 halftime games?

2011 Bama woud stomp everyone of these teams by 50.

I been trying to say this, sometime badly for months, even years (I saw this coming quit watching in 2919 when the dividend came in and the unlimited transfers etc. etc. any thinking person could see this coming.

The NFL signs players for 5 years, so if CFB becomes a year by year bidding war that will create chaos. It will create teams stealing players year by year but that creates a WHO GETS LUCKY (see Indiana) with it all clicking in that one year. Coaches can not impose their will on a team because they do nit have them 1.) long enough and 2.) If they try to set rules players are just going to ignore them and move on.

You also create jealousy between teammates, especially on the MONEY BAG TEAMS, teams like Indiana not so much, I doubt any got paid that much, save the one QB or so. They still have hunger to play hard, they have hope of making money in next years portal if nothing else. The MONEY BAG TEAMS have players who have made bank, and that is like some NFL players, once they get paid they get fat, lazy and cut.

All boats are sinking, the chaos caused this. Any team in the last few years Bama/LSU 2011 would have beaten by 50, they were disciplined, tough, hungry. These players have a bankroll, they have no hunger, no discipline, Indiana did not get great, everyone else got worse, in that CHAOS its just going to be whatever team clicks. These modern players are not going to listen to their coaches anymore.

Dont listen, but you sir are the idiot. You still do not get what is going down in CFB. Now no team can keep players 4 years, especially back ups, now no team can DISCIPLINE PLAYERS, no problem for you soft yanks you never had discipline, Harbaugh brought some in and they ran him off.

Now those same teams like Bama, Georgia have to deal with CHAOS like jealousy of teammates, with some making more than others etc. You did not rise, the rest of CFB fell because of the freaking CHAOS brought to us by Yankee and California Courts.

If you cant see the facts then you are the ignorant one. This is not good football, these players who were 5 Star studs have got their BANKROLL, their hunger is not there, meanwhile teams that are not able to pay as much in some cases can keep HUNGER to get BETTER so they can GET PAID. The Courts ruined the game.

We once had a mini NFL with about 10-15 teams, now its more like Major League Baseball and Double A Baseball, the chaos has lowed all boats instead of raising all boats. 2011 Bama would crush Indians by 50. But now they got that PAY DAY, they all fat and lazy. Instead of working out they out in the nightlife hanging out.

Yea, but why do you allow chunk plays up 10 with 7 minutes left? Funnel every thing underneath, make them use 4- 5 minutes instead of 2 and chances are you win, now its a flip.

Ole Miss's turnover was a huge swing but they overcame the momentum.

Ole Miss could have punted 'em deep and got it back, then Kirby tries a 55 yard FG and gives it back to them in good field position. Bear, Rockne, Shug and Neyland just rolled over in their graves.

Its just dumb football, its different in a game where no one is stopping anybody, but when the defenses are plying well, why do you not play field position? Just bad coaching.

Whilst we were winning, I warned everyone if you cant run or stop the run, in the long run you are an average team. Saban at the end couldnt run the bal well either. How about bringing back the Pre Set offense and pulling guards after a QB takes a snap from under center and hitting a hole fast, or bootlegging a pass to a TE.

I bet a 1000 vs. a dollar they do nit even go mano a mano in practice, its all walk throughs, lol.
