It's all fun and games until someone has enough of his antics and beats the shite out of him

Judging by his athletic ability, I’m not convinced that fight would go the way you think it would.

Paris.

Genuinely disgusting place.
Has to be a troll. Shitty jobs like working at a cafe are easy to come by. Would be more believable if we were talking white collar jobs. Those are going the way of the dinosaurs ant this point. And AI everything from both employers and applicants has messed the process up completely.

I realized my parents lied

They 1000% lied. My parents loved us all the same, but both my mom and my dad have an obvious favorite. My grandparents did as well.

Meh, it can be a pretty annoying place on busy travel days. People on top of people walking around like it’s their first day on Earth. But gas, edible food, and consistently clean restrooms all in one stop is worth it. Usually.

Trashy or no?

At least they showed up. Don’t be judgy and just worry about yourself.

Just take US 90

It still amazes me that they let it get to the point of permanent closures being required. As much as I’m sure it came as a total shock to the geniuses at LaDOTD that metal bridges near salt water deteriorate after 100 years…they should’ve been planning for replacements 30 years ago.

Hi Nabor

The plate lunches at Drusilla Hi Nabor were my go-to for years. The store was kind of run down and all, but I loved that place so much. Need to get to one of the other locations soon and see if it’s the same as the old days.

My mom and dad have done a pretty awesome job at life. Would love to be half the person they are.

More like Big Socialism. Her whole grift was that she was a socialist, coincidentally the same political belief shared by Ann Sullivan and her husband.

Came here to say this. They conveniently leave out this part when telling her cute little story in school.

There’s no way to help stupid people understand this.

Houston learned the hard way, about exporting anyone from Louisiana, and still is reeling from it.

Houston was always a dump.

The area near the arch has a very nola feel to it. They could be sister cities.

Only difference is people. If there’s one thing Nola is good for it’s foot traffic. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Nola’s just much more of a draw.

How the hell does St. Louis have such a large metro population while the city itself is below 300,000 now

Atlanta is similar. Huge metro population, but the city limits population is really small in comparison. Miami, too.

It ended up taking them 2 full days to blacktop a 4 lane highway for 6 miles. In Louisiana that’s easily a 6 month project.

There’s no way to meet that time table if there were any actual repairs made to the base of the road to keep the same potholes from re-appearing in a few months. Laying down asphalt goes quickly. All the milling and full-depth patching of the road base is what takes the most time.

It’s pointless to teach this anyway

Cursive is definitely pretty stupid, but it’s definitely a nice skill to be able to read it (if not write it.) I’ve got a whole box of old letters and crap from my grandparents and great-grandparents. It’s hard enough to read for someone who knows cursive. Might as well be hieroglyphics for someone who doesn’t know.
If you drove down there and nothing was happening I bet you’d be on here saying “it’s a beautiful day out and this construction is just sitting here. Not a worker in sight!”

That’s the REAL Louisiana way. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

When living in Memphis we could tell when it was time for bed because the FedEx planes would start coming in one after another. I think it was around 11pm that it would start. You could pull up flight aware and see them in final approach lineup for miles and miles. Never bothered me too much.

The two people I know form Odessa are kind of strange. Not bad, just different.

It’s Texas, after all.

I kid. Never been out that way, but my brother used to have to make the drive from Houston ALOT and didn’t have much to write home about.
