Does the supreme court decision now mean that the national guard can no longer be used to protect against unlawful rioting and obstruction. Seems this role has been established in the past under both Republican and Democratic administrations. So why is it not now sanctioned? National guard is mostly federally funded. I do not understand the court ruling?.
billions in fraud and it is now all about ICE invasion. Without a free press the country is fighting an up hill battle.
Texas Democrat Rep. Al Green, Rep. Shri Thanedar, D-Michigan,Ilhan Omar are prime examples of the kind of quality representation Americans have elected to Congress. With this bastion of intellect how can the country possibly fail?

re: Ole Miss is just sad…

Sorry to say but the LSU reporting outlets are just about clicks and clicks and headlines to attract readers that translates into mo money. Like most things in this business, it is competition for viewers, readers, followers, subscribers. likes, the algorithm etc which all boils down to $$$$. Covering LSU athletics is big business now with many outlets competing for the cash. Gone are the days of Bud Montet ,Dan Hardesty, Ted Castillo, Bob Roesler. Today is all about instant news and who post the news first. Like it or not, the college game today is all about the money from the top down.
These coaches have an eye for detail and talent. Need to put that into action and scour the portal for coachable talented players. Obviously we need blockers who can protect the QB and hold blocks long enough to create a hole a running back can get through. Talent and technique is necessity for sure but even more important is playing with the right attitude. Got to have a guy who is mad at them and wants to get into it with the opponent. Lot of O line play is attitude and want. Mean and mad goes a long way at this position..
Mac had his run and it was a train wreck. Need Verge to start searching for the next hire. Will have to pull out the checkbook and spend some money to get the right hire. He needs to do his homework and get a coach who has proven ability.
Doubt any cop is dumb enough to try to arrest a federal immigration law enforcement officer in the process of performing his lawful duties. Remember these Feds are armed and acting in compliance with Federal law. Supremacy act is in effect. The cop would be hit with all kinds of charges ie interfering with federal agent, obstruction of justice, aiding and abetting criminal from being apprehended. and civil suits for false arrest, false imprisonment not to mention the Feds could just as easily arrest the cops on federal law violations. Would be fun to see though. :nana:

He was ranked the nation’s No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2022 and was named the 2020 Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year.

Former LSU and Ole Miss quarterback Walker Howard is transferring back to Ole Miss after one season at Louisiana, per a report from On3 on Jan. 14.

He will be playing behind Deuce Knight or Chambliss if he get another year.
Amazed that Federal government has not stepped in to squash this obvious illegal activity. Meet these insurrectionist with overwhelming force and this BS stops immediately. Allowing this type of illegal interference with law enforcement only encourages more disobedience. Defund the sanctuary cities and states. Go to the jails where these illegals criminals are housed with federal warrants to take into custody. Federal law trumps state law every time. Supremacy law still in effect. Charge the people ignoring the federal detainers with aiding and abetting. Time to be proactive and not reactive.
Seems that if a school is willing to spend the right amount of money on basketball, rapid success is attainable. The issue is how much money is LSU willing to throw at the problem. Seems football is consuming all the air in the room. Then again that is where the money is generated and most of the fan support is behind the football team. Next women's basketball and men's baseball vie for the popularity honors. Other teams are pretty much also rans and have much smaller followings. Am I wrong?
Tyson said it best. "Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth" This stuff stops when law enforcement starts enforcing the law and these POS get hit in the mouth. Fear is a powerful motivator. If they fear the punishment for lawless behavior, lawless behavior will end. It just that simple.
Peaceful protest is protected under the Constitution. Blocking roads, throwing objects, ramming vehicles, putting hands on a officer is not. When protesters are allowed to break the laws and interfere with the law enforcement officers carrying out their duties, they are emboldened to continue and even escalate the process. Once sufficient force is used to repel them, it will end. When the penalty is > the benefit the riots end. Sufficient force needs to be used to put out the match before it can become a forest fire. In the distant past rioters were met with cops with Billy clubs, dogs, and shields in sufficient numbers to overpower the antagonist. Kid gloves were not in the equation. Of course there were no cell phones, cable news, or internet in those days.
Walker Howard climbed into Top 50 prospects on 247Sports, lands 5-star rating. Sat on the bench at LSU then transferred to Ole Miss and did not see the field. AS a Rajin Cajun was injured last year. Wonder if he would be a candidate for Backup role? Or maybe the high school ability did not transfer over to the college ranks. I remember thinking what a big get he was when he originally signed with LSU.
Walz needs to Waltz his arse out of the country. China is nice this time of year and he certainly has an affinity for the Chinese. His communist anti American rhetoric will take him far in that environment. He needs to make the move before his assets are frozen and his passport is surrendered. Bondi is going put his balls in a vise sooner than later.

re: Ole Miss QB Recruiting Question

Posted by TigerPlate on 1/11/26 at 7:11 am to
QB raffle is playing live in the media. Miami, LSU, and Ole Miss in the running for the top talent. It is basically an auction to see who bids the most to acquire the prize. Agents are going to fuel the fire to get the most bang for the buck. Schools are desperate to get the right QB to lead their team to the promised land and will spend whatever it takes to accomplish that goal.
This is not hard to understand. Only if you chose to believe an alternate narrative. If you do not place yourself in harms way you are likely to not have an adverse outcome. If you place yourself in a dangerous situation on purpose and expose yourself to a high risk situation, you should not be surprised when you suffer negatively from it. You play in traffic and get run over then cry foul? RU serious. I have seen old photos of riot control in the days before cell phones and cable news, those officers had billy clubs nightsticks and cattle prods rioters dispersed rather quickly when confronted with officers who did not coddle them. Peaceful protest is great and protected by the constitution. Once you cross the line and violence takes over, the penalty needs to be severe enough to prevent this from occurring.

re: Good news for LSU baseball

yeah that's not going to happen. you can bet sales will be made to all the schools that got the cash to buy them. After all free market capitalism is what it is all about.
The QB merry-go-round is fascinating to watch. What is surprising to me is the number of QB LSU recruited who have left the program over the last few years. Several highly touted 5* QB who never saw the field. I can not be critical of the fact, when the portal gave us Joe and Jayden. This is high stakes poker for sure. The right QB can make or break you Offense. On the injury front, getting an uninjured QB makes sense. However it is unpredictable as to whether the injury bug sidelines your QB or worse ends his season.
You believe that, I got some waterfront property in the Arizona desert to sell you for cheap. Mr.-T probably made that statement after downing way too many bourbons to be relevant. Think he might have fallen off the "bar stool" in Chicago and hit his head.
If your O line play sucked, it stands to reason that you would want to recruit different players to fill that position. Hence an exodus of the old to bring in the new. The present O line talent was judge overpaid and lacking in the ability to be successful.

re: What is targeting?

Posted by TigerPlate on 1/9/26 at 8:49 am to
Targeting is when you hit the the guy hard enough to make it onto the replay booth for review. Then it is dissected every which haway so that a judgement can be made in remote office. Playing football is a real time event. It occurs at full speed. Faster than a car wreck. Football is a violent sport. Injuries occur in every game. If you want a safe sport with no chance of sustaining an injury chess and other board games fit the bill.
Information published only when it fits the publisher's narrative. If it does not further the narrative and the assigned agenda, it is not deemed news worthy. The US main stream news agencies rivals Pravda for its authenticity. Now that it has been outed by alternative news sources, it influence and creditability has been greatly diminished. Many now get their news through social media. Good or Bad it is a fact.
