Without a doubt they're better. We'd be better with Freeman, stupid argument look at both their bodies of work! I live in New Orleans and talked to a million ND fans this week...more than half of them thanked me for LSU taking him.

Kiffin may have not won anything but he beat BK 2 out of the last 3. Lanning will have a better career than BK, so will Marcus Freeman. And when I say a better career, I don't mean win % with Kelly's numbers inflated from division 2. Lanning has 5 losses by a combined 12 points and 3 of those are to Washington. BK is laughing at our accents all the way to the bank. This redneck is over him!

ND is going to buy a championship before us too. They gave us Kelly, hired Freeman as a DC when we wanted him....then took Kelly's groomsman OC Denbrock after he coached up a QB to win the Heisman. We have our heads in the sand, it's pretty obvious. Are we even a top 5 team/destination in the SEC? UGA, Bama, Texas, OU and I'd have to say Ole Miss.

I can't name one good QB Bryan Kelly has ever recruited and developed. Not one, can anyone help me name one. I've looked at his QB recruits and if anything, I'd call him a QB killer. He either can't identify talent or develop it. Look at the 4 and 5 star kids he's had over the years... Wow, we sure got us a QB whisper don't we ????

I never understood why people say BK is one of the best. Why, because he won 100+ games and a couple Nattys at Grand Valley St. Or is it because he had a couple good years at Cincinnati? Most ND fans are happy to see him go, and he didn't win any games there that anyone else couldn't have won. He got mostly slaughtered in big games (Bama/Clemson) Freeman has already proved to be better. So what am I missing?

Kelly was 16- 10 in his first 2 seasons in South Bend. Freeman is 18-8. Also our Lord and Savior BK beat two top 10 teams in 12 years in South Bend. Ding ding ding our coach can't recruit or develop QBs (as proof at ND). I worry Freeman won't have the same problem. WR, we have then smoked. But again, hope BK can bring new studs in. We can laugh at ND all we want, but our coach was the leader of them and the person responsible for bringing in talent...and he didn't. So in making fun of them, we are making fun of our fearless BBQ eating Southern twang speaking coach. Just saying.

I'd clean House (no pun) on that side of the ball. Offense scored a ton in all 3 losses. And if we didn't have the best offense in the country, we'd have lost to Mizzu/UF and A&M. We talk about how close we were to 12-0 can we agree it was just as close to being 6-6.
