It sure is fun to give them the ol' attitude adjustment and have them purring like a kitten though.
Why do I need to subsidize someone else's new vehicle purchase again?

I found the dumbest motherfricker that ever lived.
How people can listen to this nonsense and not immediately recognize it as deceitful manipulation is beyond me.

Granted, I've always been able to sniff out bullshite and see things for what they actually are - and I don't expect everyone to be able to do it at the same level I can - but for frick's sake, you have to be a complete fricking moron to hear this and buy it.

Fiola Mare - G'town Harbor
Susheria - G'town Waterfront
The Prime Rib - K Street
Teddy and the Bully - south of Dupont Circle

My go-to list when I was in the NCR a lot. Can't go wrong with any of these.

Unusual but not crazy. My wife is 45 and she has 2 nieces in their late 30’s

Well don’t leave her for one.

Awesome. The big thing is, it’s not really the technology.

These guys practiced this raid for weeks, they knew every step each other were going to take. Over, and over, and over again they ran through it. From getting on each helicopter to getting back off everyone knew where each other would be.

This is standard practice for any op with any sort of timeline/lead up and does not differentiate this raid from any other raid. Basic 101 stuff.

The mockups, rehearsals, etc. are standard practice for missions such as this one, akin to a football team practicing their plays. Everyone does it, all the time, unless it's such a short-fuse thing that there's no time. There's nothing "above and beyond" about it.

The success of this raid was largely due to the AFO work, the planning, and yes, the tools at our disposal. (Not discounting the execution; the high-level execution is largely a given/known/assumed.)

He needs to learn when to use "me" and "myself" properly. His on-field postgame was not flattering.

I think even the sideline reporter (Molly?) got flustered and started speaking gibberish. Pretty sure she said "tooken" instead of "took" or "taken."
They'd forget to pick them up and you'd have those all over the roadways.

Based on firsthand conversations I've had, the common perception is that this operation raised the bar...and that includes the bin Laden op.

Also, that video includes no information that would be considered sophisticated knowledge of the operation. That's pretty boilerplate stuff for this type of mission. The details go far beyond that high-level summary.

NYSE aka New York Stock Exchange doesn’t have to. The Texas Stock Exchange has been approved and will be operating. It’s are moving to Texas in wholesale manner.

To compete, yes they do.

In fact, the NYSE shifted its Chicago exchange to Dallas in order not to lose their arse to the Texas Stock Exchange. Nasdaq established a footprint as well.

Mamdani is gambling that finance wont leave NYC. He’s betting that Goldman Sachs, etc, will just eat the new taxes and regs and consider it the cost of doing business.

Much of the hedge fund money has moved to South Florida. Goldman Sachs' Dallas office is 2nd only to NYC.

TSE comes online in 2026 and has already forced the NYSE to relocate its Chicago operation to Texas. The NASDAQ is also opening up operations in Dallas.

I wouldn't bet on everyone trying to wait out the situation in NYC.

Then you don't understand how God works.

I do, numbnuts.

I literally stated that my logic brain doesn't like the idea, but spiritually I don't question the way He works.

You're the intellectual version of the football team's performance against Indiana.
The only thing making NYC relevant is Wall Street.

Bring on the Texas Stock Exchange and as for NYC...frick 'em.

Net out the cost of welfare, affirmative action, and the economic maladies - including the effects of crime - they create in every place they occupy, and let's see where we're at.
Spiritually, I try not to question God and just roll with/submit to the way He likes to do things.

Admittedly though...my human brain, however, does not like the idea of the Prodigal Son and "redemption stories" bringing Him glory.

I think the Son who was faithful and did what he was supposed to be doing should have received the fatted calf.

Then again, sin is sin, and none of us deserve forgiveness for ours any more than she does for hers.

Anything else looks silly to me personally - but ultimately, WGAF what another man does or doesn't do?
