Well MAGA is not conservative
Yes we are. Sorry you hate history.

To a conservative it does.
Only ignorant conservatives.
In fact, it's been explained in this thread. Votes that do not matter does not equal conservative. When it counts, he doesn't. He literally cast the vote to move the spending bill to the floor. Once on the floor he voted FOR the Dem spending package.

Trump wants tech companies to foot the bill for new power plants due to AI and consumption
Posted by BCreed1 on 1/16/26 at 1:31 pm
President Donald Trump wants PJM Interconnection to hold an auction in which tech companies bid on new electricity generation, a White House official told CNBC.
PJM serves more than 65 million people across 13 states and Washington, D.C.
Electricity prices have exploded on PJM due in large part to data centers.
Another policy I can agree with. Why should citizens bills go up? They still get charged for Ai use.

President Donald Trump wants PJM to hold an emergency auction in which the tech companies would bid on contracts for new electricity generation, a White House official told CNBC.
Trump wants PJM to build $15 billion of new baseload power generation, the official said. He also wants PJM to cap the amount that existing power plants can charge in the grid’s capacity market to protect ratepayers, the official said.

People are having a hard time looking outside of their own interests in the immediate short term.
No.. I'm looking at the long term. What's BEST for the USA and IT'S citizens.

We went from: “Don’t Tread on Me”

No sir. It's not like that at all. It's called ENFORCING the laws.
Stupid arse comments made out of ignorance.

This is turning MAGA and the Trump admin into the fascists the Left always hoped they'd turn into. As these things keep happening, more people are being severely hurt by the ICE/fed response
My only response to you today.
You are full of SHITE! People are not being "severely hurt" by ICE. Period.

I'm not advocating for it. This was just a response to stupidity out of ignorance to our constitution and history.

Sigh, it’s pointless arguing with you when you don’t know how the justice system works.
Brother that would be YOU not grasping it. I know how it works. It's as simple as this.
quote:
There can be a law for something, but someone can not be found guilty of violating that law without a trial.
Has nothing to do with this. We are talking about using the insurrection act and maybe martial law.
If they are arrested during this time, they do get due process. Where the hell did you even get that I am saying they don't?
You are arguing the sky is blue and we are talking about a call by a ref in the NCAA Championship game. That's how far off topic you are.

I never compare a damn thing to PH. I stated that it was USED then. Therefore, it has been done.

No. Like I said. You are speaking out of ignorance or willfully lying. Gov Walz just called on citizens to do what?
How many Videos do you need?
Did you know they are now stopping any SUV and demanding the person driving to prove they are not ICE?
Ignorance..........

Our history? Our country literally started as the result of an insurrection… you’re the one without a clue.
Calling Forth Act of 1792. Insurrection Act of 1807.
Sorry you do not like our Constitution.

So the solution to this problem is to completely shut down all media?
Never stated it was THE solution. I stated in the thread I linked, the laws, how long they have been around, how many times used, and what the SCOTUS ruled.

This is the part you don’t get, it’s not you that determines if something is protected speech or not, or if something is inciting violence.
Correct again. It's NOT me. It was the FRIGGIN LAW on the BOOKS backed up by... wait for it THE SCOTUS.
They clearly ruled IT'S NOT free speech. CLEARLY... you are not grasping LAWS and RULINGS.
quote:
That happens when a person is charged and then goes to court where that is ultimately determined. So ya, banning the internet just because you think someone may be inciting violence is a pretty bad thing.
No. That's already happened because somebody was arrested for this and it went all the way up the ladder to the SCOTUS who ruled!
Nobody ever stated that we SHOULD kill the internet in an area. You are grasping.
quote:
The left has tried to say that Trump incited what happened at Jan 6. If they used your dumb logic they could argue that all of his accounts and supporters accounts should be removed from all social websites.
They did not try to say. They stated it as fact and put alot of people in jail without due process. But yet again, you are confusing 2 different things.
Let's try this once more.
- If Trump uses the insurrection act to put a stop to what they are doing in Mn, it would not be the first time it was used. Used 30 times.
- In response, if the leftist/marxists dig in and try to organize more and pick up the violence, Trump could call for Martial law. At that point, they will do their best to go after these people. If that means they terminate their ability to organize and communicate while they are rounded up, then (and here is a part you need to read a few times) Trump COULD(not to be confused with WOULD) terminate that in that area.
That does not violate free speech PER the SCOTUS.
quote:
If you don’t see how dangerous this is then idk, I guess you really can’t fix stupid.
You mean you can't change HISTORY....

If a couple kook tranny's and bull dikes up in Minnesota scare you enough to cancel broadcasts and the internet, you're far beyond reasoning/arguing with.
What? Are you serious? You have a Gov telling people to organize against FEDERAL LEO doing their jobs. You have organizations on the ground paying protesters to create havoc and attack LEO. You have meeting being held where they are training them.
I now understand I'm talking to a person living in ignorance. This isn't about 2 people.

Nah. What's troubling are libertarians who have NO clue about our constitution nor our history.

We have this thing called the justice system with these things called courts.
Correct. We do. We also have a SUPREME COURT. And it disagrees with you. It's not protected speech. I gave you the case in the OP.
quote:
Those courts are where it’s determined if someone is guilty of a crime, not what some rando like you says on the internet.
Correct. That's not the topic nor does it have anything to do with what I have stated.
quote:
I’d also be very careful, because maybe the next liberal admin comes in and decides that Truth social is responsible for inciting violence according to whatever logic they choose to make up on that given day (like you are here).
The law has been around since our inception. It has been used 30 times. Martial Law used over 60.
BTW. I'm not organizing anybody to anything. So no. NOT like me.

What a lame argument. Who said it was Pearl? Nobody. I stated that after Pearl happened we did it and it was legal because... you know... That thing called US Constitution.
Like I told your buddy. I can not help that you do not know our Constitution nor our history. I can not help that after being told you don't like it.

then we can pretty much use the same logic to ban just about everything else because someone will misuse it.
It's not misuse. It organizing to create conflict with LEO and inciting violence. That's 100% not free speech.
I can not help that you do not like our history or laws.
