When is the last time you felt LSU wasn't all in for any of their coaches since Saban?

Don't know why it's so surprising LSU is hungry so they sling money at the problem. We've always had deep pockets when it comes to football. I think Underwood pissed a lot of LSU boosters off and that's where the billionaire collective decided they had enough with this new era.
Oof I remember this one. Was even uglier how the game ended as well. To be fair though, those Wisconsin teams were generally tough and it was on the road. But it also ended Miles incredible OOC streak too if I remember right. If there was any doubt up to this point game had passed Miles by this game solidified it.
He probably will get another year based on Miss legislation. I'd be surprised if he didn't. He honestly should go to the NFL but he must really like the college level.
LSU as a team were soft as toilet paper under BK so I'm happy to see them send the S&C on his way. Ole Miss has been physical under Kiffin and that can be proven how they dominate in the ground game.
Ole Miss was on pins and needles every year needing to give Kiffin a raise. He was on the mouth of several teams for years at Ole miss. Either that was a lie or his agent is amazing. I don't think it was a lie. He was just waiting for the right opportunity to open itself up and LSU opened up. Pretty sure he wanted it the last opening but LSU at that time wasn't interested in dealing with Sexton clients because of Woody.

Kiffin kept getting jobs as a young guy because everyone saw him as an offensive prodigy that would get better as a HC over time. He has shown that as he got older which is why his last 2 HC jobs have been very successful. He's at the top now. He has no reason to leave for any other college. If he leaves, it's probably to the NFL since he failed there so it's his next challenge. The past decade of his life has basically been rehabbing mistakes he made when he was younger in his coaching career.
USC will never hire him again. Ever. If you know your history you will know why.

That said, nobody at LSU should or probably is expecting him to stay. It won't be like what's being mentioned in here though. Probably to the NFL as his next challenge. He has all the resources he could possibly need at LSU.

Kiffin already said it multiple times and even in LSU's press conference, he jumped to other teams because they're new challenges to him. He claims he wants to inspire new lives because it's something he learned from his dad. You can believe it or not but that's how Kiffin has always been. Nobody at LSU will care if he leaves peacefully especially if he snags a championship here before he does.
I would think guys like Durham would not be happy about this because reportedly he was contingent on if Lacy joins the roster or not.
Hope LSU has an army in security detail going into Ole Miss this season. Those fans are psychos. Going to be even uglier because you know Kiffin has this game circled to be his Mona Lisa to sweep their leg.
Man you love posting nothing but emotional hyperbole. You were crying most of this portal with exaggerations and now you expect LSU to be in the NC on a rebuild year? This team looks good on paper but for all that chemistry to come together early on a completely rebuilt roster is hard to imagine. LSU also has probably a top 3 SOS right now in difficulty. If they can survive the first half of the season, you should see the chemistry come together and then you might realistically see this team making a run in the playoffs. Until then, pump the brakes...
Don't let him leave. Give him a number he can't refuse!
Curne actually showed potential and he was playing out of position. He's probably going to be a very good guard but I think Harper will too. Curne has definitely shown he has the physical ability to be a good SEC guard. I think both Ole Miss and LSU won here. Hard to say who will end up better.
We do not need threads for every thought in your head. LSU is not even considering him and I doubt he's even looking at LSU. We have one of the better QB rooms depth wise in the country right now.
Their boosters are not sold on Deboer is the problem so they're not ponying up the money until they get someone else.

I think BK learned very early in his tenure here things were not going to be fully run like he wanted. I don't think he ever commanded fully respect from everyone here. My understanding is he wanted certain coaches gone and Woodward said no. His decisions kept getting axed, mostly because it was clear LSU was not sold on him due to his laziness. They were not going to massively financially invest in him because they probably felt he wasn't the guy and they likely realized this early as well. LSU was keeping tabs on him so I think they had a plan in place to slowly cut his legs out from under him because they realized the financial mistake they made. It wasn't all Woody. Remember, LSU is ran like politics. So he got super lazy and said f it, they won't let me fully do my job screw them.

I say this because he had the same problem at Notre Dame. The admin and boosters were getting tired of him so BK started blaming everything on them for his laziness. He probably did the same thing here. I think LSU realized their mistake early. There was plenty of red flags in year 1 even with the SEC title game run. Year 2 it was pretty apparent he was in over his head. LSU wouldn't be dog sniffing him with snitches if they felt comfortable with him.
Those were never verified reports. LSU is in the mix but Oregon/Texas have been out front and he's visiting Texas I believe. Probably too much money for anyone except those 2 schools. LSU has to build an entire roster so they don't have the luxury of dumping 5 million on 1 player. Who knows, maybe says f it and goes all in. Right now Oregon/Texas battle it seems though.
If LSU retains McFly after this season it shows they care nothing about basketball.

National guys say Oregon/Texas for Seaton right now as Tier 1 offers. LSU is in the discussion but they tier 2. Sounds like he wants crazy money.
I do. Weeks has injury history and 1 injury there you in trouble with a bunch of inexperience.
