Gotta be a Bama fan. They customarily speak out of their backside, or their mouths give the appearance of a backside.

It’s so funny how the dedicated fans of such a sports-successful school as Alabama are fixated on LSU. Must be rooted in academics-envy.

You are 100% correct, and I wouldn’t if I were he either. We crapped on him, and it’s obvious that we don’t care about men’s basketball.

100%. It can't get any worse, because the team is irrelevant at this point, i.e. more losses and/or wins mean nothing this season. The fan base has lost interest.
Interestingly, as hyper-emotional as our fans can be, I think it will be an extended period of time (multiple seasons) before fan interest rebounds. The only plausible means of swift fan engagement would be if we hired a coach with name recognition to even non-basketball fans.

1) Our alumni can spend the money we make as we choose.
2) If you and/or your alumni don't have the benefit of discretionary funds to support your alma mater, it's ok, but don't hate on those that do.
3) As reiterated numerous times, it did not involve the football team.
4) The matter has been resolved.
5) You will find that facts are enlightening and customarily refute the emotional and unsupported outrage.
6) If you don't like the spending profile, appeal to the NCAA to institute a cap. You can always start a petition by fans.

Just when the entertainment associated with your melt down starts to diminish, you OM boys do something to resurrect it. Thanks. This is quite fun.

re: LSU's 2026 Class - Not That Great
Posted by BeachsideLBC on 1/17/26 at 6:58 am to John somers
Can we agree that a class quality is ultimately determined by the product they collectively put on the field, vis a vis Indiana? You should refer back to this post next year at this time and see how you did. If you’re looking to cite data, you have the foundation to create data right here.
The problem is that folks twist data to tell the emotional story desired, yet never verify the supposition after the reality plays out. Then, they return the next year with new BS analyses, because their previous analyses were proven without merit, but they forget to remind everyone that last years claim was useless rhetoric.

Ole Miss’ national championship pedigree is quite worth of envy.

There’s no such thing as a high level business professional with only 10+ years experience.

That’s actually pretty funny. I think you got it backwards, friend.

Can you imagine how entertaining it would be if we started a thread soliciting stereotypical descriptions of Georgia citizens, and then went back and corrected the grammar of all of this guy’s prior posts? I’m pretty sure boudin eating and daiquiri drinking would be considered compliments after that list.
re: Someone Explain To Me Why LSU
Posted by BeachsideLBC on 1/16/26 at 3:49 pm to Boodis Man
Here’s what’s cool about your own money; you can spend it as you please. For example, Ole Miss decided it was a good idea to pay a RB that plays ~50% (or less) of the snaps $1.8M. Thats their prerogative.
re: How many of you LSU fans actually attended college at LSU?
Posted by BeachsideLBC on 1/16/26 at 3:45 pm to ManBearSharkReb
About the same percentage as the Ole Miss fans that post.
Notably, the obnoxious fans from Ole Miss and LSU largely did not attend the respective universities. As far as I go… my wife and I are LSU Alumni and been members of TAF as well as purchased premium football seating for 25 years, and we have two children currently attending LSU and a third child starting in the Fall.
So, I’m guessing we meet your metrics.

re: It does not matter about individual sports "losing" money
Posted by BeachsideLBC on 1/15/26 at 9:36 pm to SpartanSoul
Your logic is reasonable in concept. However, it lacks context, such as the money drain from MBB eclipses the sum of sports like golf, beach volleyball, tennis, softball, women’s soccer, track&field, swim&dive, etc. Staying in the business is not necessarily an awful ideas, but we shouldn’t pay a coach & players top dollar for mediocre (at best) results.
Pay a coach $500K; pay players the minimum values, and enjoy.

Objectively and without any credible argument to the contrary, Mondo is the most accomplished and recognized former LSU athlete on the world stage.
