re: Biden was worse for gas prices than bombing Iran

Of course not, it’s congress’ fault when Trump spends 8 trillion in one term, but Biden’s fault if he doesn’t balance the budget. They only care about the budget when Dems are in office and don’t care how much Trump is willing to spend. Trump has added more to the national debt than any other president. Over $10 trillion.

2 million of those barrels grew under Biden, and I was referring to more percentage increase. It nearly doubled under Obama. It’s pretty clear the oil boom started with his administration and carried over, despite MAGAts pretending otherwise.

The data is publicly available, the largest increase in US oil production in recent years by far happened under Obama, nearly doubling from 2009-2017. The streak continued into Trump’s first couple years, just like job growth did, and of course, Trumpanzees claimed full credit.

As for OPEC, you can do a simple google search. He made a deal with OPEC to have them slash oil production in 2020 to cut oil supply. It’s a verifiable fact.

“Stop evil oil”? His administration oversaw the highest levels of oil production in our history up to that point.

Which led to OPEC to slash oil production and US companies to close oil fields and halt investment. Production was low in 2020-2022 because no one was willing to ramp up production or invest anything when further outbreaks and shutdowns could cause a glut in oil supply. Trump literally begged the Middle East to slash production to protect US companies from falling through the floor. This led to the period where production could not keep up with demand when the world began opening back up. They were still reluctant to meet that demand. Couple that with Russia invading Ukraine, you had sky high energy prices regardless of who you had in the White House. Inflation and energy prices were high worldwide, not just the US.

Right…but then it’s somehow Biden’s fault when he did it, right?

Lmao, let’s just ignore the $8 trillion Trump spent right before Biden took office. Or the fact he pressured OPEC to slash oil production because US oil companies couldn’t survive rock bottom oil prices caused by collapsed demand because of the pandemic.

US expended so many munitions in Iran, China may wanna exploit this moment of weakness while we’re occupied and weakened.

Went from 11 million barrels of oil per day under Trump to over 13 under Biden. Multiple records broken under his admin. We’ve barely budged from 2024. Some war…

You lost it because Trump and republicans have done nothing to help improve the lives of those young people. Tuition is still outrageous, student loans still crippling them, gas is back to sky high levels, finding good paying jobs is harder than ever, housing is still outrageous of reach for many and accelerating in cost versus wages. Starting a war in Iran that costs hundreds of billions of dollars form Iran’s sake while they’re struggling really sealed your fate this November.

Housing prices have been increasing at a far faster rate than income. Same with everything else I mentioned. “Working hard” isn’t enough anymore, especially with AI wiping out millions of white collar jobs, and DJT colluding with the tech companies to replace Americans via outsourcing and H1Bs. The paths to the American dream keep shrinking every year and the costs soaring. And now gas is $4-5 a gallon, which is absolutely going to drive prices up across the board.

Imagine if Donald Christ and Herr Miller actually had a plan for unifying and uplifting Americans instead of these thinly veiled threats of violence. They have no plans of action that don’t include hurting someone else to make other feels good about themselves.
No plans for education, healthcare, student loads, housing, retirement, AI, or anything else.

He didn’t just insult the Pope and Catholicism, he specifically stated “ALL other Christian organizations”. He despises Christianity and the very Christians who elected him.

He sees himself as higher than Christ. Sadly, most Christian’s in America seem to as well.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to help erode white collar jobs available to white people and give them to foreigners via H1Bs.

Why does their style of governance and/or economic policy matter to you? If that’s what the people want, more power to them. Europeans are generally happier with their government and life in general than Americans. They’re healthier and live longer as well. That “socialism” seems to be working quite well for them.

Israeli’s used Palestinian children as human shields when searching homes for years. Thankfully, their SC put an end to that practice, at least on paper.
