Thats corporate speak for eliminate the higher salaried manager and increase corporate profits.
If you can eliminate human employees all together, you may improve the customer experience. I'd imagine the last two or three remaining human employees will not be very friendly.

If you want privacy from the road and neighbors, are trees the best option? They don't grow quickly and aren't going to offer that much cover (from ground level) when mature. Your property will be beautiful and well shaded, but trees won't offer that much privacy. Would it be better to utilize shrubs like Viburnum or Azaleas? Although those won't have the longevity of a tree.

Usually I agree. But I had a Creme Goolee King Cake from Cannata's in Houma this weekend that was outstanding. Not too sweet, not just another doughnut or cinnamon roll type pastry with colored sugar. This was just a uniquely good king cake. Think it was the dough.

Paraquat is restricted use. Can't get it (legally)without an applicators license. Glyphosate is still your best option. Whether you buy RM43, Roundup, Farmworks, or Cornerstone.
Nothing you spray down here thats available OTC is going to kill your ditch graveyard dead. Whenever it rains, you'l see new growth. Even cane fields get weeds and grass growing in them during the growing season.
