Impossible to compare one sport against another, but McMahon's .250 record in SEC games stands out (16-48). Overall record is 59-62.

Football coach Hallman was .364 overall (16-28) and .323 (10-21) in SEC.

Jim Smith in baseball (1966-1978) went .487 overall and .429 in SEC.

Numbers don't lie; nor do they tell which coach is the worst.
Other than interim coaches, there have been 88 coaches across all SEC teams (not counting Texas, Okla, Missouri) Too lazy to get Missouri stats...

Counting only SEC games (non-tournament) Worst coach in last 50 years is Tom Crean, UGA at 15-57 (.208)

87th is Rick Ray at 13-41 (.2407)

86th is McMahon at 14-44 (.2414). If he goes 1-13, he ties Crean. If he doesn't get off the schneid, he'll have the record!
