Gnostic religious views? There’s a ton of flavors/sects in ancient Gnosticism, from ascetics to libertines and everything in between. Though I think only the Mandean(?) group survived to present day. Albigensians/Bogomils were Gnostic influenced but I think they’re gone. Though some Yezidism and Druze blended Gnostic beliefs with their own.

Then there’s the modern incarnations, which I’ve no idea about. Seems like Wicca/Occult influenced stuff.

You should message her and get some answers, she seems to be a pleasant gal.

At the time when Nature with a lusty spirit

Was conceiving monstrous children each day,

I should have liked to live near a young giantess,

Like a voluptuous cat at the feet of a queen.

I should have liked to see her soul and body thrive

And grow without restraint in her terrible games;

To divine by the mist swimming within her eyes

If her heart harbored a smoldering flame;

To explore leisurely her magnificent form;

To crawl upon the slopes of her enormous knees,

And sometimes in summer, when the unhealthy sun

Makes her stretch out, weary, across the countryside,

To sleep nonchalantly in the shade of her breasts,

Like a peaceful hamlet below a mountainside.

Never knew that, that’s cool, and depressing. Thanks for these postings.

Does make me want to watch the 90s Batman cartoons again.
Yeah they decided to leave, I think they were leasing it, and with the upstairs being pretty empty where all the dvds/cds used to be it was wasted space I guess.

They moved to Town Center. It’s much smaller and no Starbucks. But still a nice sho, just wish it had a place to sit and read. I miss the Thomas the Train tracks too. Spent a lot of time with all of my kids playing there.
We go probably twice a month. Kids love it. I read a lot and I like to browse CDs/DVDs now that almost no stores carry them. Plus the board games and other toys give me ideas for birthdays and Christmas.

There’s no real toy stores either it seems so it’s fun seeing my kids get excited when we head there.

I miss the old Corporate location. The new store is a good use of space but is small. Juban and Perkins Rowe are nice stores too.
Isn’t that where Garfield kept sending Nermal or whatever her name was?

McDonald’s Tire on Florida has been good to me over the years. They’re pretty quick to tell you if it can be repaired or not.

The Jones Creek Popeyes was still good 6 months ago. Surprisingly the one near Istrouma HS on Choctaw(?) was decent for a long time but I haven’t been in a few years.

A Popeyes with Chik-Fil-A service would be a goldmine.
Why was the Portabello invited to all the parties?

Cause he’s a fun-gi.
I believe Adna Khashoggi is related to the journalist that got murdered. Interesting stuff, thanks.
Probably, I know alcohol does.
Good deal, hope y’all have fun with it.
For co-op we like Pummel Party, Vampire Survivors, Abathor, Streets of Rage, and TMNT Shredder’s Revenge. We are 5 in the house so everyone who wants to can play and most of these games aren’t too pricey.

For a single player I’ll go robotic and say we enjoyed Transformers Devastation (ps4), Armored Core Fires of Rubicon, and Vanquish which was remastered in 2020.

Not sure on your rules with blood and such but my teenager is enjoying Rise of the Ronin. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice is a great game too.

Edit to add that Ghost of Tsushima is amazing I played on PS4 pro and it looked great. My friends tell me the PS5 version is amazing.

I’ve tried finding the cost to make the game, pretty big guesses from 6-40 million over the years. If we take the highest of 40 million it still did remarkably well having sold 5 million by October.

It’s funny they say this since Clair Obscur, a single player game made by ex Ubisoft devs, has made a bunch of money on the traditional game formula and selling the game slightly cheaper.

I’m looking forward to CoD, haven’t played one since MW 2 remake. I like Treyarch campaigns and zombies. This one looks interesting and the slightly sci fi stuff gets my motor going.

Infinite Warfare is my favorite campaign for the modern CoD releases. Those side missions in the fighter/spaceship were awesome, I want a sequel or similar setting someday.
