Good hire. If they can get a couple solid years of draft picks right, they should be a playoff team in that time. I think of all the available coaching jobs this would be the easiest one to improve a team more immediately.

How many big name free agents did they roster during Tomlin's time there? It seems like everybody (outside of every QB not named Roethlisberger or Rudolph) was through draft and development. I don't count Wilson or Fields here because, well, they were massive flops.

Between the Sox and Yanks I don't know who's having a more pathetic offseason. Sure, the Sox got Grey and Contreras but that doesn't really build confidence for the fan base, Mayer could play 3rd but I'd rather they have an established player there to start.
