What does it take for an LSU studs son to ruin their legacy? I don’t think Will Furniss is good enough, or if he even had a chance to come to LSU but I hate seeing him play us
I just don’t understand why we get cute with coaching decisions and want to play a guy in the biggest game of the year that hasn’t hardly played all season.
We make all pitchers look like MLB guys

I’d be perfectly fine with him batting his 200 in the 9 hole taking 7 pitches per at bat with his great defense, but he’s batting top 4 and hitting the first pitch

I think our confidence issue has to do with coaching pulling seniors for freshman defensive replacement. And constantly pinch hitting. Everyone feels like someone is better. Sometimes guys just need to play, and hit, and field, and get in an rhythm.

I just read he’s like 79 so shouldn't be too much longer. I’m sure someone else will fill his shoes though

He’s a great 9 hole defensive guy. But he’s batting 250 and has been that way the last 3 regular seasons ( gotten hot in the post season). He attacks first pitch fastballs and pops up to the infield and mid outfield a lot.
I love a good infield pop up as much as the next guy but seems like we are trying to beat teams with homers as an average power team at best #LaunchAngle
