Watching Shogun makes you wonder how Japan gets a total pass for having a dictator in it’s history. The entire system is run by one man—the shogun—who controls the samurai, the land, the economy, and life itself. It’s literally a military dictatorship, but somehow people romanticize it as “honor” and “tradition.”

If a Western nation in history had the same setup, “woke” commentators would call it colonialist or fascist. Yet when it’s Japan, it’s “beautiful culture” and “discipline.” Why is that?
I did a trip to Barbados last month, and I’ve gotta say — some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Super friendly, helpful, and proud of their island. But what really surprised me was how many of them brought up Donald Trump on their own! Taxi drivers, bartenders, even a lady selling coconuts on the beach — all saying they liked how strong he was, how he “didn’t back down.” One guy told me, “America was respected when Trump was in office.

Wasn’t expecting that kind of enthusiasm outside the U.S., especially in the Caribbean.
Now that BK’s officially out, I’ve been thinking — did he ever really fit in down here? From day one, that fake southern accent thing rubbed people the wrong way. He’s a Boston/Notre Dame guy trying to lead a program built on Louisiana grit, and it always felt like he was... visiting, not belonging.
So I was sitting in Tiger Stadium last Saturday night watching that mess of a game, and there’s this hammered frat guy behind me who just keeps screaming “CAM SKATTEBOOOO! - Busy Bee -gotta go!!” like he’s summoning him from the transfer portal.

Every play. Offense, defense, even during commercials. Dude clearly had no clue Skattebo plays for the New York Giants.

People were turning around like, “bro, wrong team.” He just smiled and did it louder. Between that and the way we played, I was questioning my life choices by halftime.

What would you guys do?
