In all of those pictures of workers on the top of skyscrapers, to men coming out of cole mines and steel plants, to the auto lines and so on, don't remember seeing people that look like what she's describing. In truth, people with my shade of skin color actually BUILT this country, but I wouldn't think of taking credit for what those incredible men did.

Can you think of any writers or authors who have meant more to western culture, or specifically western cinema than Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm? It's easy to forget the IPs attached to these guys, including everything that's been based on or inspired by their work
I keep hoping they learn lessons, but you're probably not completely off. I wouldn't hate it if they went with an unknown, but a couple I think could do it well would be someone like Taylor Kitsch, or longshot, someone like Cavill.

Not saying he's been terrible, but he's been the Punisher for like a decade now. In this next chapter of Marvel, I would have liked to see someone new going forward, that's all. I knew it wouldn't be for everyone because Bernthal is THE Punisher to a lot of people.
This is going to be unpopular, and I know that Bernthal truly loves and respects this character, but I honestly believe someone else could do it better. He was pretty good in daredevil, and the first season of The Punisher was serviceable as well, just think the franchise needs a fresh face.

Sure, was just wondering. I don't watch much of the stuff she's in. Don't dislike her either, but she does seem to get steady work in big projects.

Wish we would stop this. I'm Lutheran for goodness sake, and in my decades of going to Church I never heard a single negative word about my Catholic brothers in Christ. Christians, now more than ever have got to leave these old hatreds behind.
Can't speak for everyone, but I've never even thought about taking credit for things other white people produced or invented. When I was learning about George Washington, or Alexander, or Plato, it never occurred to me that I could claim self worth for their accomplishments.
