The NCAA had too much influence on the program due to his father in law.
His stepson's father-in-law.

We don’t. Was at McNeese for a reason.
What about SWAC players? Maybe he's the next coming of this dude.
Jerry Rice attended Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) from 1981 to 1984, where he became a college football legend as part of the high-powered "Satellite Express" offense, setting numerous NCAA records for receptions and touchdowns before being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 1985. He led MVSU to national prominence, earning recognition as a first-team All-American and SWAC Player of the Year in 1984

You're right. Evolution is false. A superior being created life, and the being sent his word to Mohammad through the Qu'ran.
We're done here, right?
Not exactly. I think it might have been Jah who sent his word to Haile Selassie I. Smoke a spleef and all will be revealed.

Check out Little Charlie's Oyster Dressing. Some folks use shredded Sweet Potato as a flavor and binding ingredient like in Sweet Farre Dressing. You can find recipes for both of these online. You know what to do. If Little Charlie's recipe is behind a paywall let me know and I think I can manage to post it. However, I do suffer from "OLD" so posting it will present a challenge.

Isnt the story essentially that Florida uppers want a lot of control over player management type stuff?
This. If Stricklin says, "It's your program bring us some championships. Let me know if you need something." He may very well have ended up at Florida.

So the $75 million dollar figure thrown around is misleading.

If he were fired in 2017 right after he signed his contract, then he would have been owed $75million. He wasn’t.
Right after he signed his contract? The day after?
Your reading comprehension is lacking. The question is regarding the language of the original contract. So apparently you agree.

Jimbo Fisher's original Texas A&M contract, signed in December 2017, was a 10-year, $75 million deal that was fully guaranteed and included no offset language. This meant he would be paid his full salary even if he left for another job or was fired, a term that was extended in a later contract but was a key part of the original agreement.
Fact or fiction? Inquiring minds want to know.

that is what he has always been for decades. He has had a job at LSU because he has done what he has been told to do.
He's the perfect fit for this reason. He hasn't been at LSU for twenty years because he was recognized as a rising star. He's going to get plenty of help from the govenor's mansion via Rousse. For all of you Trump syncophants, the govenor's hiring practices are straight from President's playbook who took it from the Huey Long playbook.
As far as the Morial familiy's influence in New Orleans, is not what it used to be due to some of their means and methods. Marc Morial went to the sanctity of the Urban League because the DOJ was on his trail.
re: The Truth About Scott Woodward

Scott has been mentioned by many here to be a great fund raiser. The only fund raiser at LSU is a championship football team. Mark Emmert publicly acknowledged this when he was Chancellor. He was trying to raise funds selling benefactors on bringing Noble Prize winning physycists and Pulitzer Prize winning authors to LSU. Not long into those conversations those benefactors wanted to know if he was aware of our quarterback play and play calling, or that we should be in a 3-4 defensive front and not a 4-3.
