They are totally coming apart at the seams. Lane gets blamed for everything. As of right now we have 32 players from the portal coming in and only 1 is from the Sip.

Leavitt the better athlete by a mile. Nuss the better passer but needs a good OL. Nuss more accurate. Leavitt can make something out of nothing where Nuss can’t.

Anytime you are trying to get the caliber of player we are wanting to get at the QB position in today’s NIL $ grab it’s going to be difficult. Lane Kiffin has won more games in the last 3 years as any coach in America……at Ole Miss. Take a Xanax and get a nice sleep.

I have an extremely good source and that’s not what I was told. I was told Leavitt was insisting on taking his visits and had told all the different teams of those plans besides Tennessee. With Miami in the Natty he used the couple days to go to Tennessee because the timing to Miami with them playing was not good. He was never mad at LSU. Miami was the team that was wanting Williams more than LSU to hit the portal.
Lane flew to Knoxville to meet with Sam L knowing that night he was free to present him a better deal than previously offered anticipating Miami’s offer.
I was told nothing about our chances only that “this media saying Lane blew it because of Williams is false” and it was not handled that way. These kids understand in today’s world LSU needs QB’s they are talking to everyone until a commitment is made.

OM getting into the playoffs was not good then getting deep into the playoffs was worse. OM players are not going to hit the portal while still alive for a Natty. Plus if you were counting on Lane stealing all their players that’s a bad assumption. On top of all that OM retained and promoted Pete Golding…….their is one thing to know about Golding. He is a great recruiter and a salesman type. So these things are out of our control and all you can do is hope Miami beats them.

Supper Club is usually not open on Monday nights so they are doing this very privately. The SC is owned by the same guy who owns Walk Ons so it’s very pro LSU.

As,late of late Sunday some great players are just announcing they are entering the portal so hold your horses and be patient.
