I personally think Tulsa has a better stretch of 66 than OKC.
BTW, next time you’re in Winslow, stay at the La Posada. Such a great historic property. Everybody from Clark Gable to John Wayne to Albert Einstein to Amelia Earhart to FDR stayed there. Neat place.

Is that the appeal of Route 66? I grew up in Oklahoma City and have been around parts of it in my Studebaker and honestly it just seems ok.
With Route 66 being so popular in places like Europe and Japan, I wonder if they often come here and are disappointed by it. It’s not exactly the Swiss Alps.

Okay….devils advocate here….what’s wrong with immigrants having a side hustle to make a little money? I’ve been shopping for a car lately and have noticed quite a few immigrants selling cars on marketplace. But with carfax, you can tell now a car’s history and whether it’s a rebuilt title. If they’re selling these cars to other immigrants (which is pretty much all they can afford), what’s the issue?

I honestly think these ICE agents aren’t trained well enough to pull off such tactics. I actually trust police, border patrol and military officers but ICE just comes across as a complete ragtag organization at times with questionable hiring practices. I’d almost put them at the same level as TSA.
Liberals are always messing with the language. It’s hard to keep up.

I went to the Utah and Charlotte games. It’s impressive just how bad this team looks right now.

Wasn’t SGA in Vegas Tuesday night? For a team that looked gassed on Monday night, I’m surprised he took that trip.
Missing H-stein is big. He sets great screens for SGA and Chet can’t set a screen to save his life. Can’t wait to get him back.
They’re starting to make more calls on Dort. I wouldn’t be shocked if he was moved at the deadline. He’s bringing little to the team right now.
Then Wallace looks like a player at the Y. What’s going on with him?

I’m personally amazed at how this isn’t a bigger issue in America. Private equity firms are an absolute cancer in the US and it seems a whopping majority of people are just asleep on this one.
An equity firm bought our family business a couple of years ago (from the business that purchased us in 2015). They’ve completely killed the company by not paying our vendors, not paying bills, taking all of the company profits for other business interests, etc. Roughly 75% of the staff has jumped ship to work for competitors. 40-year old business run into the ground in 2 years. Remarkable.
An equity firm bought our family business a couple of years ago (from the business that purchased us in 2015). They’ve completely killed the company by not paying our vendors, not paying bills, taking all of the company profits for other business interests, etc. Roughly 75% of the staff has jumped ship to work for competitors. 40-year old business run into the ground in 2 years. Remarkable.
