Everyone knows the story and have seen myriad hours of footage or docs, etc. But this one brings all the Olds in one more time and it's incredible. I was 9. And I still get goosebumps and butterflies remembering a house full of little boys running around like we knew any of the rules.
Coolest thing to me is Michaels talking about the first time in his sports life he ever heard the chant USA USA USA... it was Lake Placid during the Czech game in pool play. And it got louder every game.

Watched the new Netflix doc, Miracle, The Boys of '80 last night.
I was 9 when it happened. And my Lord, it was one of the most glorious things ever. Hockey meant nothing to anyone here in Texas as a kid. But the Olympics? We didn't miss a telecast in Winter or Summer. It was a vibe and pride that's kind of hard to explain. Wish it were the same today.

Tyrone in Michigan had 18" over the weekend. Demetrius, 12. 11 inches over in La' Darryl and just over 10 inches at nearby Marquise. César with a respectable 8 inches while Karsyn ends with a less than forecasted 6.

Sam's F150 is in the WM museum. In the bed is a kennel and a depicted Ol Roy, his dog and constant companion. Also pics of Sam and the same truck in front of the original Walton's 5 & Dime. He basically drove it until he passed. Very admirable man.
