There's no way you're not closer to legally retarded than clinically average.

They'll probably give him another contract extension after he beats the Berry Vikings 97-63 two days before Thanksgiving.

What a Christian message for Easter.

If any other 79 year old man in the country was ranting like this on social media this morning, it would've been "Welp, looks like it's time to put Grandpa in a home!"
I feel as if I'm witnessing history or some shite

This is turning into a good ol fashioned pussywhoopin'!

There is no way that a 4th year Senior on a Kirby/Bobo coached team who has played meaningful snaps since he was a true freshman is getting passed up by either of them. Yall believe what you want to believe.

Aguero got passed by a true freshman last season. Who's to say the #1 tight end recruit coming out of high school wouldn't take over the starting job as a sophomore.

I don't understand how you could be this certain of anything ever.

If I was a hiring manager and saw this on an application, I would close the job search and hire the person on the spot.

re: Gunner’s Vision?

Thinking about it, it’s why having a quick release is such a benefit for QBs as it doesn’t require as much anticipation of the receiver being open. Gunners wind up makes him have to decide where he’s going sooner than someone like Stafford that can flip the ball 20 yds almost instantly.

I think the big thing for Gunner will be learning to have more confidence in changing his arm angles and release points. Watching the Stetson Bennett highlights that the other Dawg fan posted, tnat's a big part of what Bennett great.

Gunner is stiff through the hips and definitely wouldn't have been a shortstop in baseball. It will be a process, but he started doing it some later in the season. He contoured and changed his release point twice in the Sugar Bowl on the two throws when he almost died, which was encouraging.

"Lake Cow Bacon" reminds me of when they decided to rename the Pagagonian Tooth Fish to Sea Bass. Marketing coups.
The musical acts chosen to perform at sporting events have an even lower approval rating on this board than Congress.

Who the hell would make yall happy? Or is it just a protest until they roll Metallica out there???

Using rankings is idiotic, because whoever was ranked highest in preseason polls will end up higher in the cfp polls too.

I read this 4 times and still don't follow, unless you're setting yourself up for a rant about how stupid polls are and how much you don't like polls. What happens if one of the teams has aout of conference loss? Ole MIss started 13 places below Alabama in the preseason AP poll and finished ahead of Alabama in the final CFP poll.

Theoretically two teams who didnt’t play each other could have the SEC championship decided based on what someone in a hotel room in November decides. I would rather “co champs” than that

I don't think that's illogical. Head to head record would probably make sense as the only tiebreaker. Last season would've made Alabama the SEC champ (Alabama 1-0, Georgia, 1-1, Ole Miss 0-1). But it's like OPs said, the conference is too big now, and it'd only be a matter of time before 2 teams finish tied for the best conference record and they didn't play each other that season. At that point there would be co-champs if head to head record was the only tiebraker.

Without divisions and a championship game, it’s co-champs. Just like in 1989, when there was a 3-way tie.

How do you know what it is if the it hasn't happened yet?

Maybe because schools are government ran facilities and are mostly funded by the government and salaries are paid by the government combined with the fact CFb is out of control.

Which layer of the marble cake runs these schools?
Seems like only a matter of time. Kirby parroted what the Alabama AD said about getting rid of the game the other day.

The old days of co-champs was sort of weak. Last season there would have been 3 co-champs like there was in 1989.

But at the same time wonky tiebreakers with strength of opponents to determine the champion would be weak too.

It's all subjective and who the frick really knows, but I think the tiebreakers should be:

1) Head to head

2) highest ranked team in the final CFP poll

3) That's it

As long as it's not harmful to yourself or others, google whatever the frick you want would be opinion.

The Bama championship game was to me his signature game.

That's obviously a good one, but the fourth quarter of the Ohio State game was the one for me. 11-12 for something like 180 yards and 2 TDs.
Stetston Bennett would be a great research paper for some psychology student in cognitive bias and the Sunk Cost Fallacy. Too many Dawg fans refused to give him credit all the way up to the end because they they felt strongly that JT Daniels should've been the guy in 2021, and giving Bennett credit would've been admitting that they were wrong.

Sunk Cost Fallacy: A component of commitment bias, where you continue to hold an opinion because you have already invested significant time, energy, or ego into defending it.
Do you know how to change it in the profile? I can't figure it out.
Spurrier won one national title. Great coach, but one national title is a non-starter.
