I have all my eggs in ASTS right now. HGRAF was essentially my first non-ASTS purchase in 2 years. I feel like HGRAF may outperform ASTS in the near short-term. I always wanted to diversify, so here’s my first attempt to do so. I did as much due diligence the last 4 days, and it feels like when ASTS was $6-8 after Verizon and ATT agreements in May 2024. Derisked enough to make an educated decision.

I loosely followed this thread since August, and finally purchased my first 200 shares Friday. Bought another 100 today. While I’m late in this compared to others, I view this as ASTS (which I’m HEAVY in) back when it was $5-10. It’s now $85 in less than 2 years.

I’m going to make a $25-30k purchase within the next 2-3 months once ASTS gets back above $100. Will sell to purchase 5k-7500 shares of HGRAF. Maybe an even 10k shares depending on ASTS and HGRAF price

Kjirstin, the CEO, did in fact graduate with a masters in materials science and engineering at Arizona State University. That was refreshing to find.

I just want to offer a word of caution. Kevin Bambrough is over on the HGRAF Twitter site pushing this hard

I’ve been trying to do as much due diligence as possible the last couple days. I’m still wary if HGRAF is not a Vancouver-based stock promotion (the area is historically known for its penny and micro cap pump and dumps).

A lot of concerns could be alleviated if anyone in the Austin, TX area can drive by 2101 East St. Elmo Rd to verify their new “U.S. headquarters” is not another Quality Learing Center scenario.

When do y’all think this gets listed on NASDAQ? I have about $50k I want to deploy, but it’s all tied up in Vanguard IRAs. Not sure I want to go through the headache of transferring to Fidelity.
Outside of football season going to Tad Gormley for a game, typically would get daiquiris off Belle chase hwy, grab some beer at a gas station, head to Taco Bell, then take that beer to the Locks in Harvey and just frick around.
Met my wife at Live Bait in Orange Beach. We’re both from Louisiana.
$250k on AUPH call options expiring April 2022. Expired worthless.

Can anyone comment if a diesel engine makes sense for a 6-mile round trip commute 3-4 days a week, and a couple 5-6 hour round trips/month?

New Yukon with the diesel.

What is your daily mileage with the diesel? I never owned a diesel, but have been told that short trips are not ideal because it leads to DPF clogging. 3-4 days a week, my daily commute is just 9 min to work and back. About twice a month we travel from Lafayette to New Orleans, and travel to Florida/Tennessee a couple times a year. Would love a diesel engine just for the long trips.

I've been looking at the 2026 Suburban Z71 and 2026 Yukon XL Denali. I have 4 kids and still somehow manage to get by with my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. My wife drives a 2023 Honda Odyssey Touring, which we put over 60k miles on it already because we have to use it for those trips to Nola and all family vacations. The Sequoia is too small for those trips, which is a shame, because I really like those.

Is 6.2L engine really necessary for the Suburban or Yukon XL? We're not towing anything.
We tried Cactus on Hwy 90 and Verot School Rd a couple weeks ago. The birria tacos were fantastic. However, we were the only patrons at 1pm on a Sunday and the overpowering scent of Fabuloso was hard to ignore. My wife enjoyed her fajitas. We're willing to go again.

My front yard faces south-southwest, and in the summer, the sun is relentless as it swoops from east to west. Our front yard is approximately 1000 sq ft, and we're thinking about putting a Chinese Fringe tree near the right and by the front sidewalk in front of our house (near the mailbox). I also like the Chinese Pistache. Are there other suggestions that might look good and provide some shade to the front window/front door in the afternoon? We're willing to wait 5 years for it to grow and mature.

Disregard the letters on the house...I posted this same pic to ask where I should place an American flag (which I eventually settled on B).

Announced the pricing of cash repurchases totaling about $296.5M of its convertible senior notes due 2032, including $46.5M of its 4.25% notes and $250M of its 2.375% notes.
The company also plans to issue about 6.3M shares of Class A common stock to noteholders participating in the repurchases through two registered direct offerings, in each case at a price of $96.92 per share in cash.

With this series of transactions, AST SpaceMobile will issue around 1.15M incremental shares to the underlying shares of the existing notes being repurchased while removing ~$300M of debt from the balance sheet and ~$51.4M of remaining interest.

After giving effect to the repurchases, ~$3.5M aggregate principal amount of the 4.25% convertible notes will remain outstanding and $325M of the 2.375% convertible notes will remain outstanding.

In a separate announcement, AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) priced its previously announced private offering of $1B of 2.250% convertible senior notes due 2036.

So, essentially a 3% dilution. They had 3 private offerings last year. It will recover.

$106. And our water and HVAC is powered by electricity. So this is just natural gas for cooking. Last year at this time was $60.
