Betting and taxes

Winnings from gambling must be reported as "Other Income" on Form 1040. State and local taxes may be due on winnings. You can offset your tax liability by deducting your LOSSES BUT ONLY IF YOU ITEMIZE. Most don't itemize and likely are not aware of this or don't care........tax professionals can pile on with the comments.....(or those that don't care). :rolleyes:

Interesting read, just about what one should expect.....one instance formed a corporation a few days prior to contract deal.....requires a thorough investigation (good luck)........your taxpayer dollars at work....

Patch, repair and reschedule......no large investment to modernize the infrastructure....where are the federal funds to "harden" the infrastructure....I have seen no plans for improvements....call in answering system is a joke, seems to be a "canned" response. PSC, time for you to make the "provider" spend big money on modernization instead of salaries...
Look at the "provider", wonder what the compensation is for the leaders? Can't keep reliable power WITHOUT a hurricane.....PSC is a joke, when are people going to say enough of this BS?

The NFL game makes one question what they see.....you just can't hide what is so evident. The "No Call" in the Saints Rams game was so evident, tonight an easy third down, ran out of bounds prior to picking it up.....

What does anyone know about El Paso Corporation (EP) still cheap compared to others, some holdings in the Haynesville play, but not sure if there holdings are in the heart of the play or not.
