Part of the reason the run struggles is because teams DO stack the box. Let's playaction that shite to death. Maybe if we start showing how often we're willing to throw, teams will back off and we'll be able rip off big runs.

This is exactly what teams are doing and exactly what we need to do to be more successful on offense. By passing the ball efficiently, we will open up the running gamem, not the other way around. Unless we have a proven QB, which at this time we do not, defenses will continue to sell out to stop the run.

no film, saw the game though, he was definitely short of the goal line. one of many tough breaks that year and the end of the Dinardo era.

NW of College Station

I have never, ever heard of anyone use College Station as a point of reference on a map. I have lived in Texas for 10yrs and travel the state extensively, however never been to College Station. It is in the middle of nowhere.

Temple is on Interstate 35 - 30min South of Waco and an hour North of Austin.

Yeah, I think it was a few hundred bucks, Graham Hall dorm. They gave us pretty cool tshirts too. I think it had 10K on the back, they must have been a big sponsor of LSU athletics back then.

I went to one in 86 and then again in 87 when Archer was the coach, I was like 12 or 13. They had two back then and one was for jr high and then the next week they had the high school camp.

I just remember the first big meeting when one of the assistant coaches remarked, assembled before you is one of the finest coaching staffs in the country... Didn't really pan out that way though.

Sammy Martin was in our dorm (as a proctor) and I just remember telling him he was full of shite when he said he told me how old he was cause he had already lost his hair. I remember coach Nader banging on our door in the middle of the night because we kept spraying right guard in the fire alarm and setting it off.

When did they say that? Sounds like another secondary violation to me.

No violation there, they told him that at camp.

I bet Arkansas will make a push due to the location. It's less than 4 hours from Tulsa.

Tulsa to Fayetteville is less than 2 hours.

Shoot up to Austin or you can hit up LSU Alumni bar in San Antonio, which is a little closer. I would do Shoal Creek in Austin though.

Completely accurate statement. I would say the same could be said about this board too.

LSU (Baton Rouge) is actually almost an hour closer than Tuscaloosa but I agree with you when it comes to pursuing committed players within the SEC, especially a rival like Bama.
That's it, Jones is who I was thinking of...
Is that it though? Didn't some lid from LA (not necessarily from LSU) transfer to MI recently?
In the last 4-5 years, which Louisiana players ended up in MI and why?

Adam Kraus and the kid from Mamou are the only two I can think of right now. What happened?

Were there any others? If so, who?
Smith had a lot of trouble in the 4th Qtr, as did the whole O-Line. I think it was towards the end of the game he gave up a sack and AS was coming off the field and Saban met him halfway and AS just threw his hands up as if to say wtf do you want me to do. So yeah, if you look at that one game I can see how some of you would think that AS is overrated.

Thanks, that's what I thought, ~$1,100 for both seats with everything.

Question about Season Ticket Pricing

Posted by Il Padrino on 7/23/08 at 8:48 pm
How much were your season tickets with tradition fund, tickets, etc. if you sit in the S or N endzone?

Does it really come out to ~$1,100 for 2 tickets in the end zones? They spread out all these payments over 5 months so I can't remember.
