re: My wife has a shopping problem

When my husband and I first married he handled the money and we did end up fighting some. After a few years he handed everything to me, if we have an unexpected expense I am the one who has to make sure we have the money. Of course when he was paying the bills he was still in med school and by the time I took over he was finished with school and residency so I have had a lot more to work with.

It is not always easy to find good gifts for a 14 year old (my oldest son's age). I have bought silver dollars for quite a few birthdays and I think they always like them.

I got letters reducing my limit on 2 cards, I rarely use them and pay them in full when I do. I assumed this had something to do with their books and nothing to do with me.
Good luck with that. I am sure they exist, but the housewives I know are all about spending your money, on flashy items, with no intrinsic worth.

I am a housewife and don't care much for flashy items. I will admit that I spend too much on the kids occasionally, summer camp and private school don't come cheap.

I have a family member on the LSU Foundation board. No foundation money with Stanford as far as he knows, says he cannot recall ever seeing their name on any financial statement.

9 for 9 here as well.
My husband is a Psychiatrist and smart enough not to question my purchases.
Did he give a reason for advising against 529s?
Is that the year the estate tax goes to zero?

So what you are saying is these people may own their mineral rights, but subject to the existing lease? I did't know that was one of the possible outcomes, at least they may receive royalties.
Hi Simba-
Its only you if you are one of the many asking over and over about "100% royalties" and how they can get them with out paying for anything. I guess I am a little tired of the question.
Will you be using the millions you will make going 'non consent' on you 1/3 acre in Webster Parish?
It could have been worse, the could have quoted some of the people at gohaynesville.com
