I've talked to someone who is one of the founders of the group, and he said that of course we are not going to get 35,000 and acre, we know that but its just our starting point. I would think, even though it sounds CRAZY, that starting high is better than starting low...

I have a friend in Sarepta that has had several landman knock on her door. I dont know if it is for hs or what formation it may be but something is going on.

The meeting was just to inform some of the folks here about what is going on so far with the HS play. No one at all said that we were next on the list for big gas leases but also said that we're not exactly counted out either. The people here need to be prepared and know what they got as far as land acreage, mineral rights, s/t/r, etc...it's better to be prepared than think its never gonna happen and be swindled when it does.

4 good wells so far! I cant say that the meeting was very informative but the people I talked to afterwards had some very good info to share! Its just starting, so patience is a verture! And I really dont care what anyone has to say, it such a big play, no one really knows where it stops...

Wish I knew what was going on up here? Guess I'll just have to get a babysitter and attend this town meeting LOL all the while trying not to get my hopes to far up! :violin:
yeah doing business with family is usually bad business...just from my personal experiences.
I love it! The funny thing is that no one will say what company is interested in PD...I moved here with my husband bout 4 years ago. I dont really know anyone from this little town(not up on the town gossip) but I've been trying to find out what is going on with this HS talk. And yes, FREE $ would be nice...feeling kind of doubtful though..... P.S. can anyone tell me what eating crow means or this blackbird pie lol I dont get it! :wtf:
