You guys must be heartbroken! It doesn't feel good, it is the worst feeling ever. It is a sad, heartbroken, empty, and numb feeling inside, and trust me, when i say that we know exactly how you feel, because of the losses that we have suffered this season.
It is unbelievable that we even allowed your team to score so many point's on us and also it is unbelievable that we had to make LSU history just to win the game.
But a win is a win, and we are a young team as well, great game...you guys played very well through 3 quarters and we did not! Good Luck the rest of the season! Be proud, You have a great team!

It was a rough trip home, and not much better today, but we are young. Only 7 years at the D1 level. 6000 students in a city of roughly 14,000. Growing pains are going to happen, but we saw some great things last night from our guys.
Maybe we can close the deal next time we are down your way.
Technically he was listed as 3rd string at the beginning of the year. Actually probably was 2b. We had an open competition to start the spring and Jamie Hampton won. He was injured against FAU. Tanner Jones was injured against North Texas, but Levi was the starter at that point. Levi is more of a pure pocket passer, while Jamie was a dual threat at QB, but less of a passer.
Good game guys. We let one slip away last night. We are very young, but we didn't finish. You guys did.

Patrick Peterson baby!

You are kidding right? That was the pep band and they blew ULM's band away. Even the ULM fans said that.
It very well could be a close game.

Postponing the loss to TMTDM
My guess is they are doing everything possible to get this game in Saturday. If not why wouldn't they just go ahead and postpone it until Nov 15? I did see where Mcneese St. is going ahead with their game.
I certainly would not bet on that.
Alabama is launching the split heisman canidacy in Tuscalooser today. John Parker Wilson and Julio "The Escalade" Jones will be on the ballot and if you vote for one they both get a vote.
Meeting at 4 pm today. We will know afterwards.
What happens if you guys lose to the scout team?

Or pull a UAB and take your money and win.

MONEY??? For the players???? Is that legal?
Just a side note. ESPN is saying that right now the Superdome came out ok and that the Saints will be hosting the Bucs Sunday.
No hurricane coming to Troy Friday.

First of all that was last years team, they arent as good as last years team, lost some skilled players

UMMM. Are you as good as last year? Didn't you lose some skill players? That argument is Null and Void. Troy has speed and talent. No need to play the game or even go if you are not into it for a win.

Thanks looking forward to getting this hurricane out of the way so we can talk football. Hope everything goes well down that way in the next couple of days.

Troy will be coming along on the offensive side. Pretty vanilla against MTSU. The defense will be much better than what you saw with APP ST. There is no lack of speed on the Troy defense.

Troy most certainly has the athletes to run the spead. Smaller shifty, quick receivers. Same BIG offensive line from last year.
I will give you the ULL game. You beat a bad 1-A team, but the ULM game was 6 years ago. The Sunbelt has changed alot since then. Do you think you guys would go to Troy or FAU or even ULM and win now?
Leave the computer ratings alone for a while and watch the games. Did the Sagrin Ratings say App St would beat Michigan. College football is a of emotions played by KIDS. I will say that App St is a scary 1AA school. But if there had to play Troy or FAU's schedule they wouldn't do as well as either of those teams did. The difference in scholarship athelets is tremendous, as far as keeping players fresh and the dropoff from 1st to 2nd string.
Week in and out I was disagree. On an occasion sure they might beat a few. Every year the Sunbelt is getting stronger. I don't think any longer that you can compare it to a 1AA league.
I don't put a lot of stock in the ratings, but they are fun to look at. I don't mean to take anything away from APP St. They are a good team but, them beating Troy on paper means nothing. At the end of the season we will know which one of LSU's OOC games was the toughest.

As for your record against Troy, that's nice, but we have moved on to bigger and better things now and hope to continue to grow.

You think App St would have beaten Sunbelt teams?Alabama though they would have also.
Well then how many 1A schools did Troy beat last year? Hom many did App St. beat? How many 1AA teams did each team lose to last year? See my point you can't decide which team is better, by who beat who. The only place to decide it, it is on the field. Where does Mcneese St. fall into this conversation? THEY DON'T THEY ARE IRRELEVANT.
