I am taking 12 weeks FMLA this year because my BM has to have open heart surgery. FMLA is unpaid but my boss said I could work from home. We’ll see how it goes bc we have a 9 month old. Gonna need to get the grandparents to stop partying and prob hire a nanny. Ideally they will watch the baby and I’ll be golfing on the weekdays!!! 12 weeks let’s gooooo!!!

My peanut butter rant

Today for breakfast I wanted to have a piece of toast, peanut butter, banana and honey. A sweet treat to start the day. I go to get the peanut butter and it’s a new jar. Some organic fancy shite. Anyways there’s about a 1/2” of oil at the top but apparently you’re supposed to “mix it in”. So I grab a knife and start churning it up. Oil splashed everywhere. It never mixes, it’s just a big oily mess. And I got peanut butter all over the place. I don’t understand how or why this became a thing? Back in my day you would just open a jar of Jif and be good to go.
