Went to a new place that just opened in town, City BBQ (a chain), it was very underwhelming.

The most uncomfortable and overpriced hat I own.
I have several and they fit my fat head great, one of the more comfortable hats I have.
Overpriced - yes, I had a gift cert that needed to be used. $120 for two hats is insane.
Previous BB hats I've purchased have all been sale items at local golf courses (and still overpriced).

I just ordered two LSU hats from Branded Bills and flat bill was an option on both but that was a big hell no for me, I'm a man, I'm FIFTY THREE! (not tree fiddy)

Late 90's I'm the manager of a new car service department on the south side of Atlanta. I'm coaching youth baseball at the time and have a couple of team pics hanging in my office. Lady who works in the office for me is married, has two kids, is a sunday school teacher and very involved in their church and to top it off her husband works for me as a quick lube tech. My assistant coach on said youth teams is also married with kids.
One day he calls my cell while I was at work, I had left my it on my desk and I was out in the shop....office lady sees its him calling and decides to answer, (they had never met, she had only seen his pic and heard me speak of him and I never realized I had received a call from him that day). During said conversation she told him how much she wanted to hook up with him and they arranged a meet - they continued to hook up for a couple of months. It wasn't until many months after it all happened that she slipped up and said something about his truck, something she had no way of knowing. I didn't push her for answers but I called him and asked him how in the world she knew what she did and he shared what had been going on.

Chris still holds the high school record of 283 consecutive free throws made.
I went to high school with him, they would start every practice and you had to hit 10 in a row before Coach Jenkins would allow you to join the rest of the team. You would shoot until you missed, guys would earn special t shirts for hitting 25, 50 and so on. They also had a board in the gym that would show every player that had hit 25 or more and listed how many. They day CJ hit the 283 Coach stopped practice and just had the team watch him, once he finally missed they all went home. The team FT shooting percentage was insane, one of the key factors in Jenkins winning 7 State titles in 28 years and an overall record of 866-180.

Couldn't afford them after some unexpected expenses in the athletics department this season.

Morning All - Safe travels if applicable. I get the joy of a connection to Gulfport thru ATL tonight, probably no more of a zoo than it normally is.
Turkey tomorrow, South State HS football championship Friday and golf Saturday....my kinda long weekend. Throw in a coaching announcement and it could be even better.

I moved to Johnson City 24 years ago (from Atlanta), have said for the last 20 years that I was moving back "home" to the gulf coast...yet here I am. It's hard to leave this area, I still don't really consider it home, I've just been on a long vacation that unfortunately requires I work a full time job while visiting.

I had the complete set (28) , took forever to finally get the last one, was probably 1981-82...the Houston Oilers - pretty sure I showed what a nerd I was as I ran thru the store singing the Houston Oilers fight song (no idea why I even knew it). "Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers!" Looking back it just reminds me of how much fun it was to try to collect something and it taking such a long time, it created a memory - now all you have to do is go to feebay and buy what you want.

Great Job :geauxtigers:
2 things I would put money on.
Someone would stand up and others behind them would let them have it "sit down!!".
Someone would get off the bus early (maybe at a rest stop), we all know LSU fans suck and will not stick around for the whole game.
