Landry was just a bit bigger than him as a freshman. But that's who Mathieu reminds me of.

I just bought a pair of Browning Stalker glasses for $63.00 with shipping from bass pro. Light weight, good lenses and look good. Worth the money.

re: How do ya'll cook duck meat

I cut up the breasts in pieces, roll them in a strip of bacon with pepper jack cheese and a jalapeño and grill them over a hot flame till the bacon is crispy. Hold everything together with a toothpick. Good stuff!

Good Read from the LSU EXAMINER

I think he's pretty much right on!

I played against Fontenot twice a year for two years in High school. Awesome player. Hit a couple of the furthest homeruns I've ever seen. Its great to know that he's starting in the Big League's now after an awesome career at LSU.

re: How old is Randle?

Maybe the whole family is moving to Norman, Alabama.
Hey Reuben...Everyone's shite stinks.

Hope the discussion this morning went well.

I guess we won't know until Wednesday. By the way D-Mitch..what time will we know the decision on NDS?

Who the Hell is Harris?

The only chance anyone has at stealing him away from us is Miami, because Ray Ray Armstrong and Dyron Dye are going there.

So the mighty Gators are out of the picture you say?

I think it was a huge selling point for him. I don't think his recruitment is completely over, but Florida is the prohibitive favorite.

I'm sure every WR they recruit is being told that they can be the next Percy Harvin. What other studs are they going after or have picked up already?

I think we can find room for both on the field.....they should want to play on the same team, especially if Randle "wants someone to take the pressure off"

The only pressure he should be worried about is the pressure put on his quarterback. Alabama, Florida...are both losing most of their line. If Randle or Debose wants the most protection, LSU is the place to be in 09.

[quote]Florida actually has a proven track record of using a player (Harvin) with Debose's skill set. LSU does not.[/quote

So it a done deal..Debose is going to Florida to be the next Percy Harvin.

Your reasoning is baffling me. So guys are sniveling mamma's boys if they're out-of-staters stay at home and spurn LSU... but if they're in-state kids, then they need to stay close to home?

All I said was look at the Louisiana players that left the state and are studs in the NFL. I think Debose could be that type of player. The momma's boy knocks are for those players that shunned LSU. I don't want to believe that Debose is a Mamma's boy...YET.

LSU likely wouldn't have had their NC in 2003 if the talented in-state players that anchored that team would have chosen to "leave their mommy for a chance to play at a big time school."

This is true. It definetly is all about the right out of state players coming to LSU. The Amp Hill's, Xavier Carter's of the world just didn't cut it.

Hopefully Randle is going to be a mommas boy...

I'm just saying..looking back at it RP would have done us some good going to Texas. As for Jai Eugene....I just don't think he's that talented. I think we wants to be but he just doesn't have it. Just like Hawkins....I'm sure he wants to be a tough player...but he isn't.

Point is, Debose seems like smart kid who could handle leaving his mommy for a chance to be a big time player at a big time school. Not saying he can't do that at Florida...but I just hate them bastards

Looking back at it, would it have been so bad if each of them would have left?...Im talking about talent, not thugs or want-to-be talent.
I don't buy that. Look at all the Louisiana talent that left this state and now are NFL studs. He can leave his mommy. McFarland and Campbell are the momma's boys who won't get off the tit.
