All commits are being counted. TR, RR, and JJ all have not signed, but are counted for their respective teams. Really doesn't matter much, but the publicity is nice. Both schools have absolutely monster classes.

Oh yea, only the top 20 or 22 count. I thought it was 20, but Dallas Jackson is saying 22, so who knows?

This reminds me of Antoine McClain from last year. He tried to commit to Bama twice, but Bama told him no both times bc they had biger fish. Well, they missed on those bigger fish. They went back to him in january and tried to get him back, and he politely told us to go frick ourselves. Sounds an awful like what has happened here.

HAHA. Na, this is from a guy he knows. Guy normally has good info. I don't ask many questions, though. But yea, MS already hates me bc I call him out on his "LSU leads for Richardson with FSU the main competition" prediction just 10 days before TR committed to Bama lol. Where the hell did you get that from? Hell, no, I'm not happy it happened. I lived in NOLA for 3 years and it tore me up to see the city hit like that. I went over there 10 days after the storm to help a girlfriend's grandparents dig through their house in Lakeview. I'll never forget carrying 50 years of memories out to the median of the street and just dropping them like they were garbage.

So no, I am not happy for the storm. I would trade DJ, Julio, Trent, and Saban to go back in time and have Katrina never happen so that the people great people of NOLA could have their lives back. This is college football. It's not life.

Yea, we are head up for several this year. I think Randle's close to a coin flip, but I know you guys feel he's a lock, so no point in really discussing. We were never really a player for Montgomery. Myles will be interesting. Loston and Jones at LSU help Bama. I agree on Lacy, probably a sign and place for someone.

HAHA. What? He made a couple dumb decisions in an All-Star game while running a spread offense that he'd never run. I'd say 51 TD's to 7 INT's over 2 years in a better judge of his decision making, but that's just me.

Also, if you think someone's decision during an All-Star football game is what truly defines a person, well, I don't really know what to tell you. There's a little more to life than football.

Hey, you guys can say what you want. That's fine by me. You're entitled to your opinion. I've known him and his family for years and I can tell you that he's a great kid and is from a great family. Feel free to bash him if that gets you off. I think the fact that Saban, Miles (1st LSU offer for 09), Meyer, Weis, Carrol, and Stoops (who actually called again last week bc Bradford is going pro) all offered him says the kid is probably a little better than most of you guys are giving him credit for. I'd say those guys are better talent evaluators than anyone on this board.

None. I do discuss football and recruiting with several, though.

I don't dislike LSU at all. If you notice, most of the anti-LSU comments are in rebuttal to 03_Tigers_07. That dude is as bad or worse than Bamalover9 ever was. Before he was on the Rivals board, I never had any problems with anyone from LSU.

That's just it lol. I never pretended anything. I have said what I said above 100 times. People just ignore it. I'm a Bama fan, so I'm an easy target. They also think that I stalked D and all this stuff, but don't know half the story. They don't know that I am friends with a co-worker of his dad's. They don't know that I knew a good bit about RR's story before I ever talked to D bc of that. When D and I first emailed, I asked him about a few things, and he immediately told me to call him bc he wanted to know how I knew that bc it has never been public. Nothing huge or anything, just a little something. That's why I called D for the 1st time. At his request. After that, we keep in tough from time to time. It's really not anything big. No biggie to me. Afterall, it's a message board. It's just funny how people will make up what they want to fit their agenda.

Btw, Kit was invited. We even went to a restraunt to begin with so that he could have gotten in, but he couldn't get down there or something. Not sure. Then on gameday he didn't want to come hang out bc he didn't have a ticket and didn't want to fight traffic if he wasn't going to the game. I actually tried to get him a ticket, but wasn't able to. We had a guy that we thought was going to miss it bc he missed his Friday flight and we were going to give his ticket to Kit, but he caught an early Saturday flight so Kit got screwed. I mean, if I'm so bad, why the hell would I be trying to help an LSU kid get into the game?

LSU fans have built the relationship between D and I into waaaaay more than it is. We have emailed/talked/text a little. Nothing more. Nobody has ever said it was more. He met a group of 10 guys from Rivals for some drinks in Baton Rouge and everybody flipped out. It's really much to do about nothing. Not sure why some people want to make such a big deal out of it. I never have, that's for sure. Freek, StJames, Baciami, 3nolesfan3, Soup, petes2424, etc were all there. Why no huge uproar about them?

Nobody ever said Mingo was a lock. I simply said Bama was very much in it at the time and was actually in the lead. Of course, when he signs with LSU, you will say that Bama was never in it, and that's ok. That's not the case, but whatever. If Randle signs with Bama, I guess I'll say LSU was never in it.
