Yeah, we lost to South Carolina and Wake Forest. Those aren't' impressive losses because those aren't Sun Belt programs. Being down 31-3 to Troy really shows the will of a soon-to-be legendary QB

HAHAHAHAHAHA! I love watching the descent of LSU. It's the 1990's all over again.

By the way, I don't care if Les Miles gets the #1 ranked class every year. As long as he proves his inferiority year in and out

You are not going to run on our defense and there's not a chance in hell LSU plays a one dimensional pass game with Mr. Pick 6 and beats us.

You people are so utterly delusional. Tulane and Troy have given your QB fits. And you think he'll pass for 200 yards, 2 TD's and no picks?

Absolutely ludicrous

Remember in the late 80's and early 90's where you guys had losing seasons for six straight years? Go ahead and prepare yourselves for the cellar.

Yeah gets all the praise after barely beating a weak Sun Belt team but if he gets beat up on Saturday, you people will savage that kid.

Don't act like this is a good situation. You're top rated talent is getting slapped around by lower tier FBS programs.

LSU won't go anywhere worse than the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Vandy and Kentucky will get the Music City and Liberty. We won't fill the Independence Bowl so no SEC teams will go there.

It will be LSU vs. UNC in the Chick fil A, Ole Miss vs. loser of Texas Tech/Oklahoma game in Cotton Bowl
Your goober has been living off the talent of Nick Saban.

Now that we're starting to see some of his own recruits fail, we know that LSU is returning to the 1990's.

Remember Tiger fans:
LSU - Nick Saban + Les Miles = 1990's
We're willing to admit the obvious.

I was the biggest critic of Ed Orgeron. I wouldn't have told anyone that I thought he was a good coach. He recruited well but he is not a head coach and he was a terrible personality.

It's sad that some of you aren't willing to admit that The Hat is not very good.

The Nick Saban's, the Jimbo Fisher's, the Bo Pellini's are gone. Now it's time for reality. You've got this goofball coach with diarrhea of the mouth on every interview he ever makes. He's a buffoon. Your current coach has surpassed our previous coach as the biggest goober in the SEC.
I'll take all of our receivers, defensive line, offensive tackles, quarterback, and McCluster (RB, WR, QB) over LSU's at those respective positions. Our depth at RB is outstanding too. Not to mention way more offensive innovation. Then you take into account that our QB hasn't thrown for over 40 points to the opposing team.

You people have no idea the talent level of our team.

I like our odds.

How does LSU get blown out by a Florida, a mediocre Georgia, and almost get blown out by Sun Conference juggernaut Troy?

Oh yeah, The Hat is a terrible coach.
Blow us out!?

You were done 31-3 to Troy at night in Tiger Stadium late in the third.

It's going to be 2:30. You're going to be more sober. Lee is going to throw picks.

IF anything, Ole Miss blows out LSU. You people have eclipsed Arkansas fans as the most delusional people in the country

Alright Corndogs, I had fun being a one man wrecking crew for a while. It was way too easy making most of you look like the uninformed LSU fans that you are.

With that being said, go ahead and make your jokes and laugh it up before Saturday. After that, there will be nothing left to say.

And remember what "The Hat" will do for LSU:
LSU - Nick Saban + Les Miles = 1990's

59-0 over Louisiana Monroe with 350 yards rushing. Louisiana Monroe beat Troy. Troy was up 31-3 on LSUX late in 3rd.

Saturday going to be too much fun.

LSU - Nick Saban + Les Miles = 1990's

There's no real use in arguing academics or rankings with a bunch of people that sit on a computer all day typing on a message board. These are usually the people that Bobby Jindal is having to dish out food stamps and cash to

Our guys that dress like "choads" are also good at dictionaries. We've got that going for us.

Not sure what "choads" are but it was a nice attempt at grammar

re: Trophy

Yes I know, eloquence is second nature to me

As long as conventional wisdom and ESPN tells LSU they're a top contender, they'll think it.

But it won't be long before Les "Gerry DiNardo 2" Miles takes LSU back to the 1990's.

re: Trophy

Like I said, you can post our record over the last 36 years and try to make some sort of comparison out of it.

I could post your record from the 1990's and talk about how insignificant you were then, and it wouldn't matter.

What matters is 2008. The fact of the matter is your team is poorly undercoached with a lot of talent. Your program is in a Gerry DiNardo type of situation with Les Miles in the lead.

Don't try to act all high and mighty now. Congrats on the Crystal Balls. But back to 2008 and reality... your team is on a sharp decline and to say otherwise is just absolute denial.

Reality isn't always easy, especially when you're a blind, acquiescent Corndog such as yourselves.

re: Trophy

Most of the older kids were Nick Saban's talent... Yes, that is true

Alabama is using a multitude of freshmen that Nick Saban recruited and they're winning with it. Not to mention, Nick Saban is coaching lesser talent of Mike Shula's and winning with it too. Only Nick Saban could make the awful JP Wilson play the way he has thus far.

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 4:03 pm to
Your passing offense is better than ours because we're not down by 20 points to Georgia, Florida, and Troy passing the ball like Texas Tech trying to get back into it. We don't get down on the ground and get beat like you guys do. We have a more balanced offense because we've stayed in games.

You want to compare Jevan Snead and Jarrett Lee? Fine. Go ahead and tell me why Jarrett Lee is better than Jevan Snead.

2007 Talent:
Alabama: Mike Shula
LSU: Nick Saban

2008 Talent:
Alabama: Nick Saban
LSU: Les Miles

SEC West Champion: Alabama???

re: Trophy

I'm sorry, the image does nothing. Everytime I see that Crystal Ball that Nick Saban won, I think of the 31-3 late in the 3rd!

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:58 pm to
Chuck, you're team will always been sniffing the arse crack of Alabama and Ole Miss as long as Les Miles is the coach at LSU, Houston Nutt is at Ole Miss, and Nick Saban is at Alabama.

If you want to be unbiased and look at the curent and not the past, then you can admit that your program has become and will become inferior under "The Hat"

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:56 pm to
As long as Nick Saban is coaching at Alabama and Les Miles is coaching at LSU, you won't have to worry about sniffing any SEC titles.

LSU - Nick Saban + Les Miles = 1990's

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:53 pm to
Yes, 6-4 has us satisfied. We just had three years of Ed Orgeron. He was terrible. Our coach has us at a chance to finish 2nd in the West behind an undefeated Alabama and go to a New Year's Day Bowl. It's sort of the feeling you guys had when Nick Saban picked a rotting LSU out of the commode that Gerry DiNardo left them in.

Scout.com and Rivals.com rankings are meaningless. The stars of the player mean nothing if they don't mesh and you don't evaluate them right. Right now, all I see is Les Miles losing with a ton of talent. I see Les Miles playing teams like Troy and getting down by 28 points. Jarrett Lee was a star-studded high school player and granted he's a freshman, but he's playing the worst as a freshman of any freshman I've ever seen. Six or seven Pick 6's is inexcusable regardless of his age.

You can gloat about the national championships that Nick Saban helped build but remember that it's Nick Saban.

You'll have plent of time to get nostalgic about the past over the next few years as you watch this train wreck of the LSU program take place

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:42 pm to
Would 7-3 be unsatisfying in Oxford? Absolutely not. We're 6-4 and currently satisfied. Of course, I'm willing to admit that we had the worst coach to ever be hired in the SEC. LSU has been using superstar Nick Saban-recruited-talent.

After a national championship with the Alabama coach's great talent, you're now entering reality. That reality is that "The Hat" is not that good, simply put. He didn't light the world on fire at Oklahoma State and he will not last as LSU over the next two seasons. He's very Gerry DiNardo-esque.

Ole Miss, right now, has a better chance of winning this game. If this were Ed Orgeron vs. Les Miles, I would say otherwise, but we have a better coach. We have a better QB. Our run defense has been better than yours. Our secondary is suspect, but your passing offense is atrocious.

I don't see how LSU wins this game. Of course, the majority of the board is overly biased. But we all know where LSU is headed. Back to 90's. Have a fun ride.

re: Purple Jerseys

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:35 pm to
Yeah, purple is a great color.

Purple was the color LSU was wearing when man-child Troy was up 31-3 late in the 3rd wasn't it?
Comparing Les Miles to Paul Bear Bryant!?!?

Haha, funniest thing I've seen all day. Delusional doesn't even begin to describe some on this board...

I know denial can be tough but let me reiterate... YES, NICK SABAN IS THE HEAD COACH AT ALABAMA.

Returning to your 1990's prominence of sub par at best shouldn't be too painful. What was the score late in the 3rd to powerhouse Troy? Oh that's right, 31-3

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:25 pm to
Oh I know. Incredible performance to have to come back 28 down late in 3rd against the finest in the SUN BELT CONFERENCE.

If you're down 28 to us late in 3rd... go ahead and assume you'll be down 42 to us late in the 4th. As long as Jarrett Lee is the starting QB, I'm confident that you have no prayer.

You can thank The Hat and Pick 6 for this incredibly unsatisfying season.

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:15 pm to
Haha, yeah. I have no problem admitting that The Hat is a better coach than Ed Orgeron.

But the fact remains, that The Hat is returning LSU to it's glorious 1990's status of sub par at best.

You're 3-0 against Ed Orgeron. You can thank Nick Saban's talent for those wins.

Now, let's see where The Hat steers this dismal LSU team.

How far were you down to Troy, the Sunbelt Conference juggernaut? Oh, that's right...28!!! Saturday is going to be fun. My early prediction is Jarrett Lee with 25% completion and 4 INT's.

re: Trophy

Posted by PharmacyReb on 11/17/08 at 3:07 pm to
31-3 to Troy late in the 3rd!? Bwahahahaha!!!

Les Miles = 1990's LSU Football

Nick Saban = Resurgence of LSU football

LSU - Nick Saban + Les Miles = 1990's LSU Football

It's simple math really. You're returning to sub par. Congrats with your two crystal balls (except for that one year where USC was the obvious national champion), but the descent has just begun.

Only Les "The Hat" Miles could take the talent level at LSU and be down 31-3 to FRIGGIN TROY in the 3rd quarter.

Here's to another fun filled Saturday of watching Jarrett "Pick 6" Lee elevate Ole Miss to #2 in the West.
