The Roman empire is impressive too, but they've been irrelevent for a while now...think the italians run around to the rest of the world still talking about their won loss record?>

If youre trying to compare Bama to the Roman Empire then LSU would be the Greeks and/or the Persians....They had a brief moment of glory in History too....Do you think they run around bragging about it either??

Besides, comparing Bama to the Roman Empire is kinda weak....Ceasar wouldnt have wanted none of us either.

They did...you saw that PSU #1 sign right? That guy hasn't stopped jumping up and down since he got there .

Like I said before...Who exactly did Joe Pa threaten to throw his diaper on if PSU didnt make it into the top 5?

Penn State would get thumped by any SEC team playing with 3rd stringers...That includes AU and Miss State.

Are YOU going to be at the game today?

I'm going to be a coiled spring. If some bammer comes within reach and gets in my face about some bammer bullshite I'm going to jack him off.

I promise.

And I hope it's YOU.

frickin Homeaux....
LSU's first play from scrimmage will result in a loss of about 12 yards.

OH MY GOD....YOU ARE SUCH A BADASS.

Yep, it takes a real man to be hardcore with a keyboard. Ya know, being a badass on the net is like running in the special olympics...Even if you win, YOURE STILL A frickIN RETARD.
Ok I'll give ya that one....The UF reference was weak...LOL

You guys sure are kicking a lot of arse this year arent ya? Tell me...Who did Joe Pa threaten to throw his diaper on if PSU didnt get into the top five?

Yeah man...Yall really put the spank on teams like the mighty Coastal Carolina...And lets not forget the Orangemen....Or the highly ranked (22nd)Illinois, and lets not forget that spanking you gave Wisconsin....

Are you here on an SEC board to see what REAL football is all about? Personally, I'd love to play PSU for the BCS...Does the phrase "Goal Line Stand" ring a bell?

I can tell you guys right now what the key to beating Bama is......BLITZ, BLITZ, BLITZ, BLITZ...

Did I mention blitz?

Whats your take?

you are telling me Bama has 15 freshman that start? No. Absolutely not. 2 deep depth chart? I doubt that too.

15 that are in the starting rotation and/or have seen significant playing time.

WRONG....Stallings was hired in 90, and won the NC in his third year. Not to mention that most of the talent we had on the 92 team were juco transfers.

Saban is winning with Schula's players. See the same lame argument can be made both ways. You are stupid.

WRONG...Bama has fifteen true freshmen in the starting rotation this year.

who honestly feels lsu will win? if you do feel confident in lsu winning, please explain as to why? what reason has lsu given this season for one truly to be confident in not only winning, but even keeping it competitive. is lsu capable of winning? of course. would i be surprised if lsu won? not at all. but come on, lets be realistic, supporting our team is one thing, but blindly believing lsu will win is just down right laughable.

Honestly?? On paper LSU should win tomorrow. But, when you compare apples to oranges, Georgia & TN shouldve beaten us too. Man for man LSU probably has more talent, but so did Georgia, and when you think about it, so did Clemson. No one is more shocked at Bamas success this year than the fans. I think our greatest asset has been great play by a strong OL, a veteran QB, mature freshmen that have greatly contributed, ie Julio Jones, Mark Ingram etc...Not to mention great coaching which is seen by the fact that we dont make anywhere near as many stupid mistakes this year. We're taking care of the football and we're keeping the penalties to a minimum. And while we're not the most talented team in the country, we're probably one of the most conditioned thanks to Sabans 4th quarter program.

The fact that we're playing in death valley should also be to your advantage...BUT, as everyone knows, the winner of this rivalry is usually the visiting team, traditionally speaking that is. Not to mention the fact that Bamas best games this year have been on the road, ie Clemson (34-10), Ark,(49-14) GA,(41-30) and UT (29-9).

Thats my two cents anyway.
Les Miles makes Gerry Dinardo look like Einstein.

Face it...Les Miles could frick up a wet dream. The man is an idiot. A monkey could've succeeded with the amount of talent Saban left in the cupboard for Miles. Yes, you won a NC under Miles, but again...with SABANS PLAYERS. And losing two games last year with the talent you had was inexcusable. Losing those two games with that much talent is like botching a train wreck. And yes, we realize Miles is 3-0 against Bama, but do you REALLY consider those quality wins? You beat a Bama team that was already beat up by NCAA sanctions. You beat a Bama team that pretty much everyone else beat to. And your win over us last year was a joke. It was Sabans first, and with Mike Shulas players and you still couldnt seal the deal until late in the game when the fumble gods helped you out.

Nevermind the fact that the mans got no class. Just look at how he treated LA blue chipper, Luther Davis, who signed with Bama instead of LSU.

LINK

When Davis told Miles he was going to Alabama, Miles called him names and said he was only going to Alabama because "The Devil" has come back to college football. Notice how theres a gradual decline each year in Baton Rouge since Saban left? You may not admit it, but you know its true, and that truth will be even more clear after Bama rips LSU a new one tomorrow afternoon.

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!!

You're the one who said to call when we win 2 bcs championships. We've done it.

I am aware of the last couple of times that Alabama was undefeated when the faced LSU...

1993 and 2005, right?

How's that slice of history.

And NGA, don't get ahead of yourself. Enjoy the moment. You're #1 on November 6th. Great job. Savor it. Don't waste the celebration that your season should be by placing unnecessary burdens on your team such as winning championships.

I'd just hate for ya'll to have to deal with unrealized expectations again.

First off...I didnt ask about undefeated teams. I asked about being ranked #1 in the reg season. Not to mention the 05 game was the biggest rape job of all times at the hands of the refs.

LINK

Say what you will about it, but that was bullshite and you know it.

As far as expectations goes...We've already far exceeded our highest expectations for this season. Even the most optimistic Bama fans would've predicted us to go 8-4. Remember, Bamas playing with fifteen true freshmen.

saban had a worse record while coaching at lsu compared to miles coaching at lsu. saban only had 1 year where he didn't lose at least 3 games. miles has yet to lose 3 games in a season.

Key word there is..."Yet". That'll change come Saturday.

My point is that you, Alabama, have a long ways to go to catch up to the present-day LSU.

Your dominance occurred in a much different time than this.

Sure, Alabama is a better program over the history of college football. But somehow, over the last 25 years, you have let that program from Louisiana first become your equal, then surpass you in every measurable way by contemporary standards.

It must be hard to try to reach back that far to recreate history that will never become the present.

No, we're recreating history RIGHT NOW. Are you aware of when the last time was that Bama was ranked #1 in the regular season?
