3. Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun, the Firestorm expansion pack, Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 and Yuri's revenge expansion pack, and Command and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour Expansion Pack for the PC
4. The Sims 2 and University expansion pack for the PC
Got a Mac and am not paralleling Windows, plus with my XBOX 360, these games will never see the light of day again.
Just make me a decent offer, and I'll get them to you if you're interested. I know I could use e-bay, but I just figured that this is easier.

That's pretty long to me. Better than the 8-10 hours you get from a lot of games nowadays. Go with Dead Space. It lacks multiplayer, but its a freakin' badass game. From what it sounds, you wouldn't be interested in the MP anyway. Play with the lights low and the sound high for a real thrill.

They have stated in the past that the legendary maps will never be free.

Basically you have to spend 25% of what the game originally costs just for 2 courses.

Played my game. God SMU sucks year 1. SMU 12 - UCF 31.
It was 6-10 UCF @ Half. My QB literally threw the game away.

I've played it at a buddy's house, an while fun, I just think it's COD4 with a skin pack basically. I still enjoy COD4, and I prefer my M16 with the ACOG, so I'm staying pat.
Plus I've already dropped a copious amount of money between Gears 2, Dead Space, and Fallout 3. I'm tempted by Far Cry 2 and moreso Left 4 Dead, but I think I'm going to have to pass. I dont think I'd have time to play them all.

I wish they would just have verified the disk every 5-10 play sessions or once a week rather than every time. It would just be easier.

Yeah, I know it's tough, but it was by no means intentional. The CPU automatically puts USC vs ND on the sched (as you know) and because of locked games for other teams (of which you have none b/c of your independent status), you were kinda the lock and key to getting everything working, and that's how the chips ended up falling. I agree, the great thing we had going was minimal user games to keep the league moving. 4 users games will slow things way down. 1 or 2 at the most would have been good.
I can still change it, I havent advanced yet. I thought people wanted more user games in order to not have log jams and people left out of the NC game at the end of the season.
I'll put it to a vote: Everyone post how many user games you want this season, from 2-4, and we'll adjust accordingly. I tried to put them all in the same weeks together in order to have everyone be slow at the same time.
Some teams such as Florida already had 4 user games between the traditional FSU and Miami games and LSU and Vandy. If we were to go down to 2, Florida would lose the FSU and Miami games.
I personally think that if any league can make it work, it's this league. We are all pretty good about keeping up. And if the last few of ya'll post your numbers for texting, games would be really easy to schedule.
Before you cast a vote though, just look at you schedule and let me know what you think of it. I think all of you will be pleased with what I worked out (it took me 2 1/2 hours to do so...

I just finished the schedules, and man that took some time, but I think everyone will be happy.
Everyone has 4 user games and either 6 or 7 games at home (couldn't work any more than that so sorry if you only have 6 home games, as I do).
Almost everyone has a week 1 user game and a week 2 user game. I tried to make the first two weeks strictly user weeks so that we could all be slow in weeks together. This worked to some extent, but was not possible for all weeks. I tried my hardest to get the best result.
Look at your schedules and let me know what you think.
I'm waiting on seawolf and LSU Red to advance to week 1.

it looks ok. Fwiw, a lot of people got screwed on players leaving and week 1 & 2 of recruiting by the servers. So you're not alone, and most likely weeks 1& 2 of your recruiting wouldn't have been recorded.

Roger that. We will persevere then. I think following Nino's advice of not saving the file to the HD is a good one.
From now on, I will make sure to stick to my posted schedule, or else get unanimous confirmation from all dynasty members before moving forward (unless for some reason they become unreachable).
As of now, we will advanced past position changes at 5 PM today and roster cuts at 8 pm tonight, unless anyone has a problem with that.
ETA: I will also form a text group on my phone and text the people who have listed their number on the Dynasty HQ everytime we advance and the expected time for the next advance.

Well, I guess it's decision time. Who wants to try to play through this dynasty as is, and who is for restarting the dynasty over again, but play like it's year three instead of year one? Teams could understandably be changed (especially Vandy and ND) if we did this. I would use the first page to keep track of our history and we would just act like nothing ever happened.

I'm really sorry. I thought you had told me it was ok to sim through. It was late and I was running on no sleep and could have sworn that you had told me that. A bunch of people said sim their recruiting, and the others were on, so it was my bad I overlooked that. Had I realized that I was leaving you out, I would have definitely texted you about it. Hope you're not too mad.
On another note, how many of you are still having problems with the dynasty file? I'm hoping that the post that Art just had was something that was left over from before we did the delete and reload file business. If this keeps up, I might just have to delete this dynasty and start a new one, and we can just treat year 1 as year 3.
I'm sorry again, seawolf.
