A much as I hate to admit it, Saban is obviously responsible for his own success, as proven by his #1 recruiting class. Our losses seem to grow as Saban's classes diminish and Coach Miles' classes grow.
Tubby has gotten a lot of traction off of Alabama's decade of probation. He is on notice. After the Alabama humiliate the Barners on Saturday, it could be over for him.

We should forget these mercy bowls and concentrate on not losing 4 games next year...
Leadership change?

As a Baton Rouge alumnus, I am deeply concerned about our ability to continue to build a competitive SEC program. After losing 6 games in 2 seasons, should we be looking at our leadship more closely? Althought no one wants to consider it, maybe Coach Miles has indeed gotten a lot of traction off of the talent that he inherited?

Arkansas turn-around?

Well, at least we match-up well with this team on paper. Hopfully we won't drop another one. We have already lost 6 games in 2 seasons...

re: 2009-10?

My point is this - I do not see us being competitive in this conference for several years when replacing 20 seniors with 20 freshman.
As a Baton Rouge alumn, I am concerned about our ability to continue to build a competitive program. Here are some facts that we must overcome in 2009-10:
1. Last year we lost 2 games [and escaped an average Alabama squad].
2. This year we have already lost 4 games [and escaped an average Troy squad].
3. Twenty seniors will be exiting.
I am not sure how Coach Miles will [continue to] pitch our program if we continue to lose 2-4 games per year.
Thoughts?
