I strongly dislike Dallas in any sport. My Pelicans/Hornets have constantly gotten beat up by the Mavericks for as long as we’ve been in Nola (for the most part).

But damn… I really felt my heart drop for Mavs fans when I first saw that trade. I couldn’t fathom how upset I would have been if we traded CP3 in 2009 after losing in WCSF for example.

The mom is definitely dumb, but I don’t understand the school continuing to move the kid up to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level english/science/etc when he failed his freshmen level courses so bad. This is the type of thing that politicians/leaders have thrown to the side in the last couple of decades and it’s a shame to see. I’m sure that kid was screwing around without great parental guidance (as we can tell), but damn someone needs to be guiding him if his mom and school aren’t. He was/is a child. Completely set up for failure.
