I wouldnt be so quick to jump on the LSU admins as much as I would the people in the capital building down the street. The fact that the only two venues that the state can make budget cuts in is higher ed and healthcare is an embarassment, and until that changes, LSU will continue to suffer.

Thats the ultimate plan way on down the road, but until our idiot state legislatures stop draining money from higher ed and forcing the university to take all the athletic money, those plans are a long way down the road.

Cassanova and Cannon are the actual top players, but watching Tommy Hodson replays is awesome, and watching Rohan Davey throw the ball the way he did was pretty awesome too.

Im pretty sure LSU has held the attendance record for Baseball since the early 1990's EVERY year since.

Anyone know why the ROTC quit shooting off the cannon after touchdowns in tiger stadium? I will admit it used to scare the crap out of me when i wasnt expecting it, but i thought it was pretty badass all the same.

Track for sure. If he is running a 10.00 100 meters in college, no telling how much faster he can go with a proffessional individual coach and a fat paycheck at the end of the track.
Playoff Bill set to go to the House

Is anyone concerned about the playoffs bill being passed through the house? If it gets passed, the FTC will be given authority over the college football postseason. In my opinion, this is gonna make things alot tougher for LSU and the rest of the SEC, as the :fairness nazis" are gonna swoop in and work as hard as they can to knock down the big name schools and start giving out championships to cinci, hawaii, new mexico state community college, etc. Comments?
