Yeah, Valedictorian at Dutchtown is usually around 4.6+ GPA. Very smart kid. Knows how to succeed on all levels. My favorite player on the whole team.

No, someone who doesn't play for NW St. will not earn a scholly for LSU. He is a tackling dummy for Patrick Peterson

What about ULL/UNO? Daniel Graff ring a bell?

not saying it's likely I was wondering if anyone knew more about the kid to give him a shot before dismissing him

Jarrett Hardnett

a new transfer from NWern listed on the roster at LSUsports. Unranked 2009 recruit on Rivals and Scout from Woodlawn. 6'1" 220 4.7 forty.

Only work accumulated at Northwestern was 6 games played and 1 tackle made. LINK

He is listed as a WR on LSU roster, surprising since he played defense for the Demons and his medium forty. Any know anything more about this guy and whether he will make it off the squad team and on scholarship?

on another note, I turned up pass interference to 90 and I've still never had ONE called on either team - and I'm halfway through the second season

I've even tried to get it called by running in front of a reciver and then stopping, pushing him around, etc.... no call

Computer always seems to have "better hands" Try adjusting either their setting down or your up. I increased mine a bit (to 60) because I noticed the same discrepancy.

i'm offended you think the service is that bad. unless you've had horrible service multiple times you can't label a place that badly. people may not always give the perfect service but i seriously doubt that came out of someone's mouth.

did you tell a manager you were treated that badly? because if you would have i'm sure they would have found a way to make it better.

Yeah, I got my meal for free but I was still pissed. A friend I knew that worked there said the guy got fired the next week for being drunk at work. My friend got fired the week after that for being late too much. Maybe they just made a few bad hires. But I've been 3 other times and not had my drink refilled once, I know the cups are big, but I drink a lot of water, sorry. So yeah 4/5 times I've been there sober, bad service. (Can't really tell when I'm coming back from bars, I don't care/remember)

After reading this, maybe I'll give it another go and be appreciate of how lucky I've apparently been at BWW haha.

It doesn't matter what I think either. I was wondering what your opinion was on what really happened, based on the limited information that has been released publicly.

Same here, and he just got waived. Wonder how Rahim has been affected by this?
So you think he fell asleep or just sucks at driving/wasn't paying attention?

if the officer would have suspected alcohol was involved she would have ordered a blood test.

If you were that officer, would you have? I wouldn't. Does no one else think the media may have distorted this? No chance at all?

re: Senior Salute - Kelvin Sheppard

Posted by dx497 on 7/30/10 at 8:06 am to
Yep, he seems to have developed greatly under Les. Looking forward to seeing Baker play at LB too after being a stud on SP the past 2 years.
its definitely a possibilty. They didn't do any toxicology tests because he needed immediate surgery. They said "no alcohol is suspected." His passengers claimed no alcohol was present either, but obviously you would want to try to protect the integrity of a man's character when the only person he seriously hurt was himself. I wouldn't be surprised either way, but in a way, and I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, I hope he was drinking. Because if he wasn't, why was he driving so early in the morning and if he was tired enough to fall asleep at the wheel you can make a consscious decision not to drive. If you're drunk, it's harder to make that decision. Either way it's a bad decision, but I'd rather Chad have made the, in my opinion easier mistake, than to have just done some knuckleheaded that could have very easily been prevented.

Anyway, case in point, lesson learned, next time call a cab.

We must not be talking about the same place.

BWW is bad, but I really hate Pluckers service. I got boneless wings one time and they were completely dry like they forgot about putting sauce on it. I asked for sauce on the side (I wouldn't dare send it back) and the waiter literally told me to "stop complaining and eat your food." Never had anyone friendly there serve me either. Maybe I just have bad luck, but I would give BWW C+ and Pluckers a D for service.

Once a similar place opens (Pluckers) in the area, which is far superior, BWW will quickly lose its following.

I prefer BWW sauces, prices, and service. Might just be unlucky but it seems everytime I order takeout or delivery from Pluckers they always say "about an hour" and it's usually and hour and a half or two hours. BWW 45 cent wing nights beats the hell out of Pluckers $17 or whatever it is all you can eat .

And no I do not go to a black college.

between the tackles, Ridley.

Depends on your speed differential setting. Default is 50; Murphy seems to be the quickest there. I have mine set on 25, Ford is quick outside and inside, makes great cuts but doesn't break many tackles.

2nd season, Peterson does not stay, no matter how you try to convince him. (I couldn't find the Cadillac button) Gaming board?

A cool shot of Terrance Toliver reeling in a TD:

Is he moving to No. 8? I noticed that he was there when I first got the game, but he is still listed as his old #80 on the LSUsports.net roster.

Maybe it's going to be another senior leader thing like #18 with Holliday leaving?

Haha, wish you all had met him. We all know. On a smaller scale, it's a little like Les's situation. As long as he keeps getting into the 2nd round of playoffs /a New Year's day bowl game they will keep him around.

Heiner Brau in Baton Rouge

Posted by dx497 on 7/20/10 at 12:26 pm
Anyone know more places where you can get Heiner Brau on tap in BR? I personally like it much better than that other Covington beer. I've heard rumors that Abita pays bars and stores to not carry Heiner Brau. Any truth to this?

Add to:

Chimes
Bulldog
Happy's
Red Zeppelin
Rotolos (Prairieville) anyone know about the Rotolo's on Nicholson?

Good read on UNC

The version was 08 and LSU won the NC. I plan on getting the game tomorrow. Anyone superstitious?
The Jolly Ranchers are for color and flavor. You pre-mix the drink so the Jolly Ranchers melt and you don't get a broken tooth. If you don't wait long enough for them to melt, they stick at the bottom of the cup anyway.
