quote:Well, we did have one idiot start a thread saying JJ shouldn't have got an extension. If a coach shouldn't receive an extension after winning NCs 2/3 seasons, when exactly should he get one?
Is anyone saying that Johnson should start packing?

quote:You’re right. It was stereotypical of me to say that. Lol My point stands though. It's not like these most of these guys couldn't play at other universities.
Not all are rich parents…. But if you can get in, they make sure you can pay for it. Plus the future income potential helps.

quote:I keep seeing people say this, like these Ivy League guys are working part-time to put themselves through school or something. They all have "scholarships". They're called rich parents. Just because they don't have baseball scholarships doesn't mean they weren't offered one to play outside the Ivy League.
They don’t give out athletic scholarship

I've watched and even supported MM for his first few years. I was even cautiously optimistic, going into conference play. I've seen enough and no longer support him. He's had enough time. He ain't the dude.

Posting dumb crap your very first post, and you probably figured others would think that screen name is cool. Sad.
I'm not bothering with it this year. The last two years they ignored my cancelation and tried snatching another month or two out of me. I emailed them directly explaining that I'm only interested in one team, and their response insinuated that wasn't normal for true college baseball fans. Like I give a shite about watching two MAC schools playing or something!
Told us what?

One game in February?
How about the Duke of Yorke, or Big Kahuna crush? The Power Ball? 3 Bens (3 $100 bills)? Gotham? Toothpick (reverse nickname & makes bat look small)? Lunch bully? Yogi Bear?
I realize they're all dumb, but I'm bored.

How about the tsunami of swat?

I believe that's a Hebrew riddle. Open the ball. There should be a clue leading to the location of the holy grail.

Alex Bregman Stadium?

They'll never have him on, after abandoning their beloved Notre Dame.
quote:It could be selective memory, but I do not remember Kelly visiting north Louisiana, even once, during his entire four years.
I really think he's made more site recruiting visits in his 2 months than Kelly did in all his time here. That may be exaggerating but it really does feel like hes way more actively involved and on the road than Kelly was.

I would really like to flip him. I think we have a good chance, too.

Freddy Mac!!! He was one of my favorite Saints role players, back in the day.
re: Sean Payton again comes up small in the playoffs
Posted by Laman1978 on 1/26/26 at 4:26 pm to Jugular Joe
I feel like the Sean Payton hate is unwarranted. It doesn't feel right seeing him coach another team, but he gave the large majority of his career to the Saints, and most of all, he brought us a Super Bowl. I'll always appreciate him.
quote:You’re just one of the typical fans that throw the QB under the bus when literally anything goes wrong and don't really know football well. No big deal. Well over half of fans are like this. Two players have had 4,000 yard passing seasons in LSU history... Joe Burrow and Nuss. And people think he won't get drafted because he was stuck in a horrible offensive situation in 2025? Think.
Not sure what to think about this. I want him to succeed though.

He just ain't the one. Time to move on from him. Been patient enough.
