re: Investing in an oil well

You should be able to get a copy of the log from the operator. Find out the depth at which they plan to recomplete and do some simple research on log response (low SP or GR, high R, and "kissing" N/D is typically oil pay).

This could at least make you a bit more cofortable knowing it won't be a "dry hole".

Although previous production history of the sand and volumetrics would be needed to actually verify the validity of the prospect. Good Luck! I think you'll need it!
1 day IP rates mean almost nothing. 30 day average rates tell a much better story.

Hopefully these wells have a good decline curve. Will probably be tough for the propant to keep the fractures open for a more ductile formation like this.

Really hope they can lower prices and make these wells work, would be great for LA
The fact that they are considering fracking the Davy Jones well is unreal to me. The bottom hole pressure and temp is crazy high, now they want to frac it?

It is difficult to understand how frac's effect reservoirs at 8,000' let alone 30,000'.

I think there is little doubt that this sub salt Wilcox play is working though, see Anadarko's new discovery (Shennadoah or something)

Now they just have to figure out how to complete it!
The Lineham Creek prospect has already encountered pay shallow of the Wilcox objective in the Yegua formation.

It is gonna be a beast and much easier to complete, regardless of its reservoir qualities at the Wilcox IMO.

And MMR is not "done". They have been bought out, along with PXP, by a huge company with more access to cash, so I would assume they are gonna pour more resources into completing(fracking) the davy jones and its companions.

Could be wrong on that last part, maybe they just call it quits after billions spent??
These numbers mean absolutely nothing

You could look at these numbers and come to the conclusion that safety is the second highest value position also in terms of $ spent
This whole Jarvis Jones situation reminds me alot of Brandon Spikes when he ran that terrible 40.

He turned out to be a great pick by the pats in the second round.

I think Jones will be a good NFL player only judging from the limited Georgia games I watched.

I put priority at OLB over LT. Hope we land him or Mingo.
Not sure if this is already posted, i didnt see it.

Would LOVE Jarvis Jones, hope hes still there when we pick.
HD video is out for me just getting audio. But the non-HD channel is working...

Its silly to combine what they did when they were out of their primes and what they did out of their primes.

umm what?

So Dontrelle Willis deserves to be in the hall of fame? In his 1 year prime he went 22-10.
Im thinking longevity is one of the MOST important factor in HOF voting, no?

What are you doing with you PXP Flask? Is there a chance it gets bought out at $50?
IMO we are a lock with 10 wins and have a chance at 9 wins.

I could watch that all day
NFC South- Falcons

NFC North- Green Bay

NFC West- 49ers

NFC East- Giants

Wild Card 5 Seed- Bears

The way I see it this is the most likely scenario, meaning we have to worry about the Seahawks/Vikings

The Vikings schedule is tough, they will lose 4+ games. No need to worry about them

The Seahawks schedule is easy, probably lose 2-3 of their remaining games putting them at 10-6 or 9-7. But 6 or 7 of their losses would be conference losses, so we could potentially win that tie-breaker

First thing is first, we gotta win alot of tough games going forward.
John Abraham v Charlie Brown scares the shite outa me.

Hope to see alot of help from David Thomas or the RB's

Big game for Brown, really wanna see him prove himself on the big stage
I'm guessing Ray Edwards will line up on Charlie's side...then I got to looking and his stats are terrible

Has he been hurt or is he even starting?

I cannot watch the Falcons play anyone but the Saints or I have violent seizures so anybody who has seen them, info would be much appreciated.
No joke. Every time they show him it looks more and more like he is gonna vomit, which would be absolutely disgusting

There won't be much of a market for him. May get him cheap? Maybe he is serviceable in a 4-3?

I wouldn't be opposed to giving it a shot, at this point what is there to lose. We literally cannot possibly get much worse.

Yeah I never understood the Mingo>Sam NFL wise, Sam is what you ask for in any DE you want on your team. A good run defender and is a consistent pass rusher, he may not have the pure speed of Mingo but he's bigger and constantly gets it done against SEC tackles.

If you're a 3-4 team then yeah look at Mingo first, but I see Sam being a better fit in a 4-3. I guess you can't go wrong either way though, I just like the consistency and overall game of Sam more.

This
Sam Montgomery> Mingo IMO

especially in a 4-3...but I've been wrong before cough:sedrickellis:cough

Pretty sure we dont have to worry about Harper covering Thomas.

No shite? He might have to tackle him on a bubble screen no?
The Saints will have no answer to Demaryius Thomas. I am worried about those bubble screens they throw with his speed and our lack of speed in the secondary...lookin at you Harper

The Broncos will have no answer for Sproles. I figure the Broncos need to rush 5 to get pressure on Brees and when that happens Sproles can leak out into the flat and pick up some chunks
Im thinking Demaryius Thomas has 175 yards on those quick bubble screens alone.

Just start drinking as if its a noon game would be my advice...

But then if this is the case the players wouldn't be suspended, because I don't think that would fall into his "conduct detrimental to the league" jurisdiction

I think it would, all Goodell would say is that the policy has changed about paying for "big hits", that he warned the Saints specifically and that they chose not to obey, hence conduct detrimental to the league
If Goodell can prove that the NFL did in fact warn the Saints not to continue such a program, and the Saints ignored that warning, then we are still in some shite.

Obviously the NFL's focus on safety, or at least a need to be publicly perceived as a "safe" league has become more of a priority recently.

But if there was little or no actual warning to the Saints than we are getting screwed with all this.

Bottom line, he is built for a 3-4 DE not a 4-3.

That was his position coming out of college and it still is...

That said, he has shown a lot of improvement from last year, and if Gallete and Tez continue to improve, I like our line going into the future

P.S. I think we should run a 3-4, we have the right personnel, but Spags doesn't run it.
