Lonesome Dove is something near and dear to me. And I say that as, when I first watched, I was an 8 year old girl. Gus and Cal were just so awesome. It was epic. There was likely some bonding with my Dad, while we watched, mesmerized. Anything after was trash.

Testing sales tax doesn't sound too complicated, but fixing it could be.
Wrong and right. Take an invoice of 100+ medical devices, some are taxable, some are not. Maybe they are 50% taxable, or, depending on the product, only subject to 15% of the sales tax rate. In California, that could be 5%, 10%, 15%, etc.

I used to do that and I still do on occasion.
Did you have the joy of seeing if sales tax was calculating correctly?
IT testing for a go-live project since 6am. All is going well.

Have you actually never been on a roller coaster? Truly curious. I have been skydiving (twice), hang-gliding, love roller coasters...and I have a terrible fear of heights.
Wow - 6th always felt safe. I was just in Cartagena, Colombia, staying on a street that felt like Bourbon, with people partying until 4am. The police presence (although most were about 17 years old) was very strong. I never felt uneasy.
Prayers to those killed and the wounded.

I am legitimately angry at the morons in the balloon. People had to climb up a tower to "save" them. I hope they had to climb down and were terrified in doing so.

I have an irrational hatred of cockroaches. A phobia, a fear. They fly at you, chase you.
There was an episode of the X-Files that dealt with them, and I kid you not, one of those evil things came out of nowhere and ran across my foot, while watching.
The ones in Florida are different (and I have yet to encounter). They call them "Palmetto Bugs" (isn't that sweet?). But I don't think they are like the Louisiana "come at you like you just stole his land" version.
And as for the video, in order to glue them, he had to catch/touch them? NOPE.

That's how you win a war. You want to divide? We conquer. I hope the humor isn't lost on your poor, ignorant soul.
I had a relative post that Hillary should be the woman moms aspire to be, their daughters hope to be and likely the non-binanry troll their sons, that they hope to indoctrinate, should want to admire. I refrained from commenting.
re: If you were featured in a yearbook at this stage of your life, what would your quote be?

Please explain to me how what you quoted is some profound poetic passage
Because time is an unforgiving witch.
And you run, and you run
To catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
And racing around
To come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way
But you're older
Shorter of breath
And one day closer to death
And I grew up listening to vinyl on the 1956 turntable my grandparents bought as their first piece of furniture as a married couple. I own that turntable now — fully restored, humming like a dream — so please don’t climb up on a soapbox and try to educate me about vinyl. I was raised on the crackle.

don't care who wrote it, it's still nonsensical crap without more context.
Do you even know what a b side is? Your clear lack of understanding the lyrics and poetry of rock n' roll show how knuckle-dragging you want to be, or already are.

In honor of Robert Duval as Gus McRae -
It ain't dying I'm talking about, it's living. I doubt it matters where you die, but it matters where you live.
If you want one thing too much it's likely to be a disappointment.

Looks like Tubi and Pluto have it. It's such a great watch. 4 episodes, about an hour and a half each.

If that's your take on a Blue Oyster Cult lyric, I feel for you. You're gonna need more cowbell.
I LOVED Lonesome Dove as an 8 year old, and watched it many times over the years. Gus was such a great juxtaposition to Call. RD was always a fun actor to watch.

I was a highly competitive gymnast, so I understand your mindset. But, as you stated, he is academically inclined, which is a fantastic thing. High school sports careers fade, but intellegence is a rare commodity. Don't push him with things he doesn't enjoy (but YOU do). Cultivate his interests. This isn't about you throwing a football over the mountains and reliving your glory days, Uncle Rico.

Funny, when the Yankee Snowbirds come down in the Winter, there is always more trash. And these people have money. Is it a cross between ignorance and entitlement?
This isn’t harmless attention-seeking — this is predatory behavior. He’s hiding behind a false sense of untouchability, acting like he’s beyond accountability. In reality, he’s just someone exploiting media hype to act out disturbing fantasies, and it needs to be taken seriously. His D&D loss should be accounted for,
I don't personally like Trump as a brash Yankee (my southern upbringing isn't used to his style), but as President, gimmie more. Not like I am hosting supper at my house with him; he's getting actual things done. :usa:
