It’s time to boo them on and off the field after every half inning. They’re getting paid now. If they can’t handle it, turn in your uniform and hit the portal. This is unacceptable and embarrassing, doesn’t matter if it’s early March or early June.

It’s time for opening tryouts tomorrow afternoon. Requirements:
(1) Throw a baseball 60 feet 6 inches over a 17 inch wide plate.
(2) After you sit for 2 minutes, throw a baseball 60 feet 6 inches over an 17 inch wide plate without losing your mind.

He’s wrong. It was a fly ball and you’re taught to go far enough to where you can score if it falls and if it’s caught, you can still tag up and go to 3rd. With two outs, there’s a huge difference between 2nd and 3rd. The pitcher can’t afford to throw anything in the dirt and his pitch selection is almost cut in half.
