Another borderline, unheralded female-led 90s band. Massive in the UK, and very underplayed in the US.

She went solo in the 90s and flew under the radar of mainstream radio play.

At the risk of offending the obscurity police, this band and its singer wre pretty obscure when I listened to them back in the 90s

Here's a more obscure '90s L.A. band whose singer recently did soundtrack work on the weird TV series Yellowjackets.

I saw the Spinanes open for Liz Phair in L.A. back in the early 90s. They both sounded great, but Liz Phair seemed to have stage fright.
This is an early 90s indie rock band I always wanted to see live but never could get the timing right. I loved the female singer's voice. They broke up due to heroin issues.

Stayed there for 2 nights just before Thanksgiving last year. Great location and Carousel bar.
Nothing else stood out, but I still enjoyed it.

He still has a lot of energy (and the swagger) considering his age. The Blues Explosion absence was noticeable, but it was still a great show.
