re: Question concerning LSU/Bama
Posted by NOLACOP on 10/7/11 at 12:08 pm to GoldenTiger85
Bama fans are right, it's not a rivalry. I wouldn't give a shite if we replaced them with A&M.
This is an issue we have to fix as soon as possible. I can't believe that LSU cannot field a kicker who can't consistently kick the ball at least inside the 10 yard line. I do think that this might bite us in the arse if we don't correct this problem.

Meanwhile..Sooners and Ducks are being arrested left and right and are not getting anywhere near the media hype.
4 OU players arrested since January..I have not been able to find anything that indicates what their punishment would be...and the crimes are much worse than a bar fight.
Why is no one in an uproar over Stoops?
To be fair, Oregon has taken a beating in the national media all off season. I guess you haven't heard but Oklahoma has now become a bastion of academic excellence and ethical conduct!
I really like our secondary but it will depend on some young talent producing. I do worry about the ability of our QB's to consistently get the ball to our receivers. I guess we'll find out soon, I never envisioned last year's Bama team losing three, it should be fun to watch.
I'm not, trust me.

I went federal in 08, so none. I used to work the Sixth District so it was always good to find a white boy in the bricks...like a Chritmas present. I'm just kidding, of course, that place was a sinking ship (See Warren Riley and Ronal Serpas).

Roger that, busy day and get a second to relax and I have to see that chicken shite! I guess I'll bust out my William Strunk Jr.
I'm sorry, I posted once in this thread. I was sort of making a fricking joke. I consider LSU's talent on par with Bama's, I am not ready to admit that somehow Bama has the advantage in every phase of the game over our bunch. I have no idea who the hell you are talking about in reference to a lame arse approach. I was under the impression this was a board where guys get to come and bullshite with each other, I did not realize I needed a "style".

LSU's D-line and bama's D-line are a TIE(IMO) Dunno yet

LSU Run Game & Bama Run Game--TIE The answer is No
I agree, I have no idea how we can compete. This is the best, most complete Bama team in recent memory..wait that was last year. What the hell did I watch last year in TS? Seriously, we'll see what happens, our schedule is a mine field and I'll wait and see with JJ. Our talent is very good but it is young and step up time is here.

Oklahoma bitching about academics and infractions.....WTF? I'm sorry, when did fricking Oklahoma become Yale? I wonder what the rumrunners son thinks about this chicken shite?
"Liberty Valance" and "The Searchers" are my two favorite westerns....Lee Marvin is great as Valance.

It'a the proverbial car wreck, I'm going to have to take Scruffy's advice.....but I fear I may be on next year's "Intervention".
Hanging on by a freakin thread!
I know, it's the one where they actually open the storage units and have an auction. Please talk me out of it or convince me I'm not crazy.

I love this show, it's freaking addictive. Help me, does anybody else think this show is worth a shite?

I don't give a shite. He is a home grown boy who had a little too much fun at LSU. Good luck MD give em hell in Dayton, it might be a good fit. I thought he should have given IU a shot.

OK Capstone, Florida and Georgia have no talent compared to Bama. I'm sorry, like I give a shite about them anyway.

They have alot of talent and some questions with a quality coach. This is true with a couple of SEC teams. Bama, LSU, USC and maybe Florida and Georgia all have the talent to match or surpass Bama's roster. It's a pre season poll, it didn't do Bama much good last year. It's so close injuries, mistakes and breaks will make the difference as usual.
Ok, I was in the Marine Corps Infantry, so maybe I don't know the rules in a pretend military college but WTF? What's up with the naked guys with naked guys thing...not that there is anything wrong with that! Somebody please tell these future officers
that you need to fade your high and tight. After kicking the shite out of them in their own backyard I'm really supposed to take these people seriously?
I was dianosed with Leukemia in April of last year, trust me he is in shock right now. Medically speaking there are a lot of unknowns with diseases that are individually specific. There are certain medicines that work on one person and not another, I'm guessing that Coach and his doctor have to figure out what is his best course of action is in the near future. I have a high stress job and it is a process, let's hope that his physician get's him on the right track for the sake of everybody involved. Geaux Tigers.
re: Alabama Top OL in the Nation
Posted by NOLACOP on 8/4/11 at 10:18 am to Party At LSU
I remember you guys being very critical of your OL last year on this board and I think it was warranted. It is for this reason that I am surprised with all these pre season rankings that have Bama with the best OL in the country. I see that most of you are taking a wait and see attitude on this ranking and I don't blame you. The OL that LSU had last year did a pretty damn good job considering we had no passing game at all and I don't think any QB put his OL in worst spots than JJ. I understand McElroy may have held on to the ball too long, but if the primary wasn't there JJ would do some kind of shimmy shake with his head down that looked like a drunk kid at a high school prom. I think both lines should be improved but I love where our line is at if everybody stays upright. Good luck to you boys.
re: Sentimore to transfer
Posted by NOLACOP on 8/3/11 at 3:27 pm to Draconian Sanctions
Sentimore's family did the honorable thing at the end of that recruitment. I sort of feel sorry for them but I always felt he wanted to be a Tiger.
All kids from the boot are not stupid, just the ones you get. Eddie Lacy is currently on your roster? If the Hill rumors are true then the Louisiana process continues.
Very nice Nixon, doesn't quite apply, but I like the effort.
