we lose 6 starters on the offensive side of the ball.

Even though we lose six starters. That doesnt mean we dont have talent. JJ is still here and hopefully sheppard and Randle will see alot more playing time. They really did have an affect on a bunch of the games that we won this season.

Les Miles isnt the problem, Crowton is. Ever since Scott and Williams went down, hes been trying to make our Offense more conservative and pass oriented.

Probable losses are Fla, Aub, Bama, Arkansas

Tossups are NC, WVU and Tenn

WVU hasnt been the same since RR left and I think we can attribute a that to Slaton and white leaving. For the past five seasons, NC has had mediocre seasons and never makes it into the Top 10. Tenn is about to be put on probation and Aub has terrible defense with tate leaving.

Saban, however developed the players that won in 2003, miles did not develop the player that won in 2007.

1st: I guess this means that Ricky-Francois, Trindon Holliday, Keiland Williams, Brandon Lafell, Chad Jones, Ciron Black, even Ryan Parriloux were just a bunch of Benchwarmers .

2nd: Nick Saban did the same thing, at the 2002 Sugar Bowl, he coached most of Dinardo's recruits. I think there might have even been a few on the 03 team.

3rd: Again Saban is doing it again, he coached Mike Shula's Alabama players to back-to-back winning seasons with one NC.

Why would we lose to WVU or NC? Those two teams have got to be the worst of their conferences.
As far as Im concerned, its a toss-up in the games like Florida and Alabama. We can beat bama if we dont deal with more injuries. Florida loses leadership, I dont know how much more stress the Meyer can take before losing it. I think we'll beat Tenn, but I still have a funny feeling about them.

why would you want our old coach to do better with our rival, thats like watching your worst enemy screw your ex girlfriend and liking it.

I wish everyone on this rant could look at it the way you and I do

Program in better all around shape right now..LSU or UGA?

I live in GA and even their own fans say that UGA is doing bad this year. They dont have any defense coaches, their best linebacker Rennie Curran is leaving along with their starting quarterback Joe Cox. LSU seems to be doing fine provided that Les Miles doesnt do anything funny.

Yea, but I dont want anything funny from Les Miles, this is not the time to repeat the Ole Miss game. Im actually hoping this could be like the Auburn game back in October this year.

Great reply. I live over in Bulldog country- about an hour and a half from Athens. Man, they can be a pretty arrogant bunch. Anyway, that was an awesome response.

Thanks, I live in Snellville. Out of all the years Ive seen college football. They were relatively quiet until 2003. Then they really got on my nerves when we won the Championship again. Its a curse.

Capital One Bowl Odds

I have never seen Penn State play, I am worried about LSU blowing this bowl game. All what I know is that Penn State has a sucky offense but a good defense and the game projections are Penn State by 2.5. What do you think?

The holding call on Hester.. (or was it Helms?) when he didn't even block a player.

Yea, I was at that game, that wasnt the only bogus call the referee made. They also kept calling sideline penaltys on LSU for being to close to the sideline, while Arkansas was practically hugging the field. Calls like that slowed us down. There were so many bad calls pinned on LSU in that game.

What do you think the odds are that LSU goes in to the house that Bear built and beats the mighty Crimson Tide this year?

LSU vs Benedict Saban? After he upset us in front of a record crowd at Tiger Stadium???

When LSU is done with Bama, there wont be anything left.

Anything, when it means bragging rights over Florida and Georgia, and something to match Alabama.

re: LSU titles

Well, I heard that in 1908, we were undefeated and awarded a title by the National Championship foundation, yet the school wont recognize the claim, I never knew why.

LSU titles

How many national championships has LSU really won? I know 1958, 2003, and 2007 are given, but I thought they also won in 1908. Does anyone else know?

Arkansas lost the cotton bowl to Missouri with a rank of 24 and Kentucky won the Music City Bowl unranked over Florida State.

Florida wasnt even rated when they beat us in 2003. At least Kentucky was rated #15.

thats how you type, you're (you are) and your (shows ownership) It says you live in Baton Rouge, are you sure you just dont live in northern Louisiana, but you want to live in Baton Rouge? All my family live in the Acadiana region, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans, they tell me all the dummies live in Northern Louisiana. Oh and, if I have no connections with LSU. Then how is it that my own grandfather worked as a trainer with Mike Chambers?

ok, so maybe it wont, but anything can happen. Our new defense coordinater could scrap up a great defense. Anything can happen.
