The mouth breather that hosts an ole miss podcast claims Lane created a fake contract leak and has contacted signed players to jump in the portal for more money. It sounds like they are bracing themselves for an exodus to some degree. He is also begging the SEC/NCAA to please stop Lane…Lastly, if Lane gets away with this, September 19th will be a day of reckoning…just sad
This young man is a player!! Please get him in the boat!

Win two of three between Bama, Texas and Tennessee; we’ll go 10-2
I believe Delane because one of the back up safeties getting similar playing time as Spears did this year. It’s great to have options and competition for all positions. It’s a long season and injuries occur

Young Delane is returning to OSU

Jackson(I believe he’s the transfer from FSU) came on late in the year after recovering from an injury. I “think” Corey maybe counting on him to have a bigger impact. This is why our front seven needs to be difference makers in 26

There is no debate regarding Pickett’s physical traits and raw talent. Today he is not cutting off one side of the field. I have every confidence he will get there, but not starting season two. Clemson’s offense underperformed as ours did so that is probably not the best example. A comparable CB would be Finney from Oregon; tremendous talent that went through his ups and downs throughout the year. Both will make significant jumps in year two. It’s not realistic to expect a 2nd year corner to take away one side of the field as Delane did.

Blake’s defense has to find a way to get pressure without blitzing. Obviously, this is key to good secondary play. Delane took away half the field from offenses. Pickett and PJ are very good cornerbacks but at this point in their development, no offense fears them. We do need another CB who is very good in the slot and boundary positions

Lot of talent in that family! Alem Sr and of course Uncle Chad Jones
If we end up with two young QBs our OLine needs to be elite to be run the ball and absorb their growing pains
This is head scratching..local kid from Shaw that we never considered during the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Pete was forced to play zone coverages due to CBs’ lack of talent. Not sure if he fits what Blake is looking to do
He’s their contingency plan if Chambliss doesn’t get another year
I have no issue getting someone very talented but young who can give us a couple of years until Pop is ready to take the reins

If not injured, he would have remained OMs QB and we would not know Chambliss existed

Austin Simmons

With what Kiffen knows of Simmons, I wonder why he wouldn’t be a better backup plan than who is currently being considered??

We will need a minimum of 3 scholarship QBs on the roster. I know it’s early but we currently have zero

Letting young, high level talent like this leave does not help when you want to “lock down the state”
Conversely, are you familiar with Cignetti’s approach?? He is very hands on. Particularly because he’s conditioned to not having a bunch of resources at his disposal. The point being, some CEOs/HCs are more hands on than others
