You were warned about this by TigerFred, dickcheese.

See - I don't see how the foul language is tolerated but stating the fact that I'm the greatest fantasy football player in the universe is banned and anchored.

Sincerly,

I take it you've policed these boards a long time...

Mind if I call you Barney?

see what happens to you next thread!

and then maybe you'll show me SOME RESPECT!!!!!!!

Dude, I haven't disrespected you or anyone else. I'm simply giving advice to some of TigerDropping's finest.

You don't even need to view my thread - you already know what it is about.

Hall of Fame

because you are my bitch!!!

Here is the thing. You are not even an admin. Yet you run to the admins and tattle. Which means they use you to police the boards. So that makes you their bitch.

And I'm still the Hall of Frickin' Fame and the greatest fantasy football player you have ever heard of.

Now scurry along for another nut, squirrel.

The Hall of Greatness
This is preposterous.

I'm fielding questions from some of TigerDroppings finest. What in the heck is wrong with that?

HoF

We aren't paying you anything????

No - that's why I'm not playing. Ya'll would have to come up with some money for me to play in ya'lls league. I'm the frickin' Hall of Fame for pete's sake.

HoG

Why do some threads get anchored?

Posted by DrunkenTiger76 on 7/19/11 at 4:36 pm
Could someone explain to me what constitutes anchoring a thread? I am not sure how the "cliqueish" nature of TD fantasy sports board works and who makes this call.

It seems as though popular threads would be allowed to remain at the top, unanchored.

TIA

No offense Lester Squirrel,

but aren't you the db that ratted me out to the admins?

The Hall of GTFO!!!

do you avois 2 RB systems like the plague? if not, how do you decide which systems are most effective for the fantasy game?

Yes, but it is difficult in today's NFL to do so completey. It really will depend on your scoring system as to which back(s) in 2 back systems are most effective.

Great question, Rouge.

Congratulations - you have qualified as the Hall of Famiac poster of the day!!!! Big ups to you!

Hall of Jubilation

So what else can The Hall of Fame help you all out with today in the fantasy football world, which he is the greatest in the world at...

Would you like any other advice for any of your questions from a Fantasy Football genius and legend?

re: Auction draft strategies

Auction draft strategiesMy league is doing an auction draft for the first time this year and I've been trying to figure out the best strategies. I've been doing a bunch of mock drafts based on one strategy: spending about $130 on the first three picks. Either 2 rb's and a wr or 3 rb's. I'm in a standard scoring league that runs 2rbs, 2 wrs, and 1wr/rb. I've been drafting Peterson and Jamaal pretty regularly with the first two. I'm just wondering what strategies those of you who have done auction drafts have found to work well in the past. Thanks.

Here is a better place to get expert advice from a fantasy football living legend.
Advice from a Living Legend thread

You should seek the advice of the Hall of Fame...he's a living legend and can defintely help with your upcoming draft.

Hall of Magnificent
quote:

which players do you see struggling the most from the lack of OTAs this offseason due to the lockout?

Teams with new OC's and young, inexperienced QB's.

Hall of Greatness
quote:

Injuries happen all the time. The fact is you need to make sure you hit on your keeper. Vick is injury prone because of his style of play. I would not keep Vick as my keeper. I wouldnt draft him in the first 2 rounds like he is being predicted to go. He is too risky to burn a 1st or 2nd rounder on when there is plenty of quality players with less risk.

But in the format the poster mentioned, it is a no-brainer...you go with Vick

Hall of Awesome
quote:

U just told me to keep him over chris johnson, but now saying stay away from him?

I told you to keep him due to the potential alone! While I do think at some point he will get injured, I think the value in your format warrants rolling the dice. Injuries are so difficult to predict - and some guys play through them, others can't.

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

Sincerely,

The Hall of Greatness
