I think some of you guys are way too confident to have seen this rodeo before. This is Memphis. Until he is in orange, in Knoxville, on the official roster there will be forces around him trying to make sure it doesn't happen, and I don't mean mom and dad.

I have no idea how accurate it is, but our mods generally aren't homers at all and tend to downplay everything. I was surprised to hear it as it sounded like we really wanted him a couple of weeks ago.

I think him eventually coming back isn't out of the question. If he keeps his nose clean you never know. The people who felt wronged by him will be gone within five years but the affection will never go away. Either way I hope he keeps on the straight and narrow and is very successful.
Obviously UT. It's going to be incredibly boring when we only have like one guy we're even remotely in on and the rest of the class is overfull.
I don't get Florida's struggles. Even when Kiffin Kiffin'd us a month before signing day we closed with a much better class than this one will be with Dumbass Doolittle. If I was a Florida fan I would be nervous. It should not be difficult to recruit to Florida, period.

Richmond and maybe an outside shot at Prince Tega is all we're waiting on. If we get Richmond we don't even have room for Prince unless he reclassifies to 2016.

We basically told him we have a spot for him and a left tackle and if we get both tackles before he commits too bad. So he's committing tomorrow.

Probably Sapp is the last commit. If we get Allen or Richmond we obviously take them.
John Kelly, Quarte Sapp, Pat Allen, Richmond, Prince, Bryce Love.
We want a RB(Kelly or Love, Jaashan Lewis is the backup option), a tackle, and if we don't get Allen or Richmond we'll take Sapp. Prince would require us to magically find another spot. We told Ryan Newsome we were out of room last week, and we'd been on him hard all year. It may end up we just take the first guy that commits once we get a RB out of the rest of that list, and just find a way to make the numbers work if we hit the jackpot with someone on signing day.
I don't think we lose any of our current commits, Boulware and OSU is the only really concerning visit.

Lots of talk we don't have room for him. We have two spots basically with a bunch of RBs, Prince, two OTs, Sapp, still out there, and that's without thinking of Richmond.

How has Arkansas done anything more than anyone else? UT has let a bunch of people go the new staff doesn't like and is going after a bunch of higher rated guys they do. So has Auburn. Nothing has happened to anyone in recruiting that separates any of the new hires from the others.

Criticize Butch all you want but don't put him in the same category as Dooley. Dooley was 16-20 in the WAC. He had never been a coordinator. His players disliked him and a lot of them didn't respect him.
Compare Dooley talking about how difficult it was going to be for three years and still trying to get his guys to play hard for sixty minutes in his third year to what Butch said today. Butch basically said our intention is to contend and that's what we plan to do every year. Is he going to do it next year?
