re: Challenge to Miles haters

Posted by rmr1127 on 9/8/09 at 10:26 pm to
I don't hate Les Miles...I like him..He's a nice guy and that's the problem...

Saban is an a-hole
Urban Meyer is an a-hole
Steve Spurrier is an a-hole

Notice a pattern here? (I'll admit right now Miles is better than Spurrier, but at this point visor boy is just milking those poor South Carolina smucks for as long as they're dumb enough to keep paying him. He's been retired since he left UF. He's just drawing a check.)

You don't have to be an arse to get it done, If you are charismatic enough, you can get it done as well. Pete Carrol does just fine. I don't think any of us are going to accuse Les of being charismatic.

It's pretty simple what Leslie has to do to shut all his detractors up. Just win a BCS game with his own talent. It's clearly his team now from this point forward, no more Saban's team crap. If he's the real deal, let's see him get it done on his own.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think he has it in him.

medtiger, you might be right Saban may have passed altogether on RP in which case we'd have McCoy or Sneed at QB right now....

One things for sure if RP showed up he would have damn sure known who's boss.

As for the RP Jax State comment...Jax State has no recourse but to except wayward degenerates from real Div 1 programs. I'm shocked he got suspended, I figured he had the green light to rape and pillage. Must have screwed the AD's wife or something.

I call BS on Miles saving the program by running Perriloux!

Fact is RP was a problem because of Miles complete lack of discipline! The situation finally got out of hand to the point he had to run him.

If Little Nicky had still been here, he would have crushed RP at the 1st sign of trouble and show him who is in charge!

In fact, if Saban's here there's a descent chance RP is still on the team and last year never happens! God knows the D would have been better!

Nail on the head Katy Tiger, nail on the head...

We're not going to regress to the 90s, as incompetent as Miles is, he's no Curly!

We are however well on our way back to the 70s and being 8-4 tops every year and Bama's perennial purple headed bitch...

Les is not as good as Cholly Mac, and Saban is smarter that the Bear...

Les should French kiss Saban every time they meet for making him a wealthy man!

Get used to mediocrity folks!

Season ticket holder here, and yes I'll be there when the stadium is empty and we're struggling to beat Miss State...

re: What I will DO

Posted by rmr1127 on 9/6/09 at 7:11 pm to
I will do all of the above as well.

I'm just going to be really PO'd going back to my tailgate site about 9:30 PM or so after Vandy, yes Vandy, has kicked our arse...
Post on the Ole Miss Game coverage:

"Bama looks strong, LSU Struggles..."

How many more times will we get to hear that this year?

Vandy 28, LSU 21
Hey I still got us beating MSU and ULL...could be worse. Give Miles a couple more years to completely derail the program
Washington W
Vandy L
ULL W
Missy St W
UGA L

3-2, well be lucky if the UF game doesn't end up carried on ESPN360....which by the way you can't get if you have Cox Internet

Shepherd and the fact that he wasn't on the freakin field!

Through Randall in there as well, same comment

re: watch the Huskies go 9-3

Posted by rmr1127 on 9/6/09 at 3:18 pm to
Well it is the PAC-10 so anything is possible...

But not likely, 8-4 at best.

We beat them
USC will beat them by 40+
Cal will beat them by 30+
I believe they have Boise State on the schedule, so that's at least a 20+ loss.

Nice try though...
Assuming last post was from Jacob's mom....
Your right Cutrera should, but then again he sucks...

re: Sec Players of the Week?

I think you are automatically ineligible if your team gives up 400+ yards...

What are u smoking?
Guess he fell asleep early...

That's ok our D slept walked through the game as well

Any one else got a lame arse excuse for us sucking?

re: Jefferson was average

Yeah well we better hope Vandy doesn't improve much from week 1 to week 2....

Reality bites flower child....

I know bad football when I witness it and we are headed for a LONG year.

You're right the excuses will start flowing after the first SEVERAL loses we're going to incur this year.

re: We Looked Better Than Georgia

Posted by rmr1127 on 9/6/09 at 2:29 pm to
You've got to be kidding right?

UGA would have mopped the turf with the Huskies, even with new QB and RB....

Thank GOD we didn't play OSU they would have had 800 yards and 60+ points on us yesterday!

re: Congrats to LSU

Posted by rmr1127 on 9/6/09 at 2:27 pm to
Thanks for the nice words.

However, I'm afraid reality should be setting back in for you in about 2 weeks.

As for us...we were 3-5 in the SEC this year and will struggle to match that this year.
He's saving their redshirt year for the next coaching staff!
Wrong about what?

He couldn't make the 2-deep on Bama's roster and probably couldn't start on another SEC team save Miss State.

It's not his fault. He's doing the best he can. It's a disgrace the lack of talent in our LB corps... How in the hell did this happen. Jacob should be playing mop up duty. He's about as talented as Thomas Dunson.

One lucky pick 6 ain't gonna change that.

Quit making excuses.

You people act like getting on a freakin charter plane to the left coast with a 2 hour time difference is some cause for distraction.

BS....

They squeaked by a very crappy team and are headed straight for getting their asses handed to them on several Saturdays this fall!

They better grow up and QUICK!
Under...only 'cause it's Vandy...they'll crack 300

Better question: Over/under 200 for LSU?
Prepare to panic next week!

I think JJ did ok. In fact I'm not sure any of our recent QBs would have done as well with the complete lack of protection he was getting (Maybe Flynn). What's wrong with the O-Line? They sucked!

One thing that did disappoint me is the camera shot after the game showing JJ as well as a bunch of the other players cutting up. I know they are just kids but after that lack-luster performance, I'd have quietly grabbed my helmet and headed for the locker room thanking God we didn't loose that game and thinking about what we need to do better next week.

Then again if we had an actual disciplinarian for a coach this wouldn't be an issue. He'd have them "on that page". The O-Line and D-Line should have to run wind-sprints all the way back from Seattle!
Sarkesian, no contest, but this is nothing new, we've been managing to win in spite of the current arse-clown-in-charge (including one National Championship) since Saban left.

When you look at it, it's actually quite amazing.

No telling what we could do with a real X's and O's guy with some discipline....
What do you mean? According to Coach Leslie they're going to the Rose Bowl this year....

What a crock!
