Dawgs beating KSU 11-1 in the 8th
4-1 Dawgs in the top of the 5th

Henry Allen drives in Phelps with a base knock
Dawgs take an early 3-0 lead at KSU on a Tre Phelps HR and a sac fly

Nice to see KSU in their new digs. It’s still very much so a G5 level park but it at least looks much nicer with a turf field, press box, etc
I realize I’ve been mostly MIA these past few games; was at a bachelor party out of state so my own watching capability was limited.

Completely forgot we have 2 midweek games this week and then another 4 game tilt this weekend vs Queens. And then nothing at all next week before Tennessee. Which is kinda weird seeing as UGA spring break isn’t until next week but then I guess Wes does like to reset the staff before conference play and then again before postseason so it’s not totally out of left field.

Side note on KSU: Georgia southern is abysmal this year, sitting at 2-9 with a -74 run differential
Dawgs win game 1 of the doubleheader 17-0 in 7 (I assume)

Game 2 starting soon
Troy takes the lead in the 12th on a 2 out, 2 strike bases loaded wild pitch

6-5 Troy
5-5 Dawgs vs Troy in the 9th
Phelps comes through! Bases loaded and 2 out, laces a single to left to tie it

5-5 in the 8th
2 out Bases loaded clearing double for Troy

5-3 Trojans in the 8th
3-2 Dawgs in the 8th on a Daniel Jackson solo shot over the batters eye!
On cue, Dawgs in a tight one with Troy

2-2 in the bottom of the 6th
Tech got their first loss of the year from Georgia State last night

Arkansas, LSU, Oklahoma, and UCLA all lost as well

I believe through 7 games, we lead the nation in home runs hit and strikeouts thrown. Doubt we maintain that pace but it’s a nice place to be 2 weeks in
Calloway had 2 really bad errors at 1st and Sifford had a bad one at 2nd

He was sending a message that laziness and lax play on the field won’t be tolerated
They know what they did :spank:
Update:

It’s now 22-0 Dawgs.

We have outscored Samford 45-5 this weekend.

It is still the 4th inning of Game 3.

Kolby Branch launches a prodigious 2 run shot into orbit

Bases loaded walk and then a bases clearing double by Henry Allen

Lujo with a base hit to score Allen

14-0 Dawgs in the 3rd
