Yeah but I’m concerned that may be a harbinger of something worse looming. Second time Vigue has gotten pulled midgame for a forearm cramp. Best case is we can keep him for the end of the year but I’m not gonna be surprised if we hold him out vs ole Miss or if this happens again
Dawgs win 5-3

Aoki went 6 innings and 100+ pitches, Byrd got the last 6 outs

Hoping Vigue just had a cramp, seemed to not be in any discomfort or wearing a brace or sling in the dugout.

Rubber match tomorrow but we avoid the sweep and maintain our league lead for another day.

Supposedly talking in the dugout as if it’s elbow. God fricking dammit

I think our season maybe just took a fatal blow. Wes came out immediately after Vigues warm up tosses like he saw something in his throwing motion and ultimately took him off the mound. We are grade A fricked if we lose him; we don’t hve a quality 3rd starter and our bullpen has a notable cliff after Aoki, Scott, Byrd, Brown, and Farley
frick.

Vigue just signaled to the dugout in the 3rd and Wes immediately took him out. I think he felt the pop.

3-0 Sawgs in the 3rd but our season might hve just taken a fatal blow
1 is the perfect 50s b movie but with 80s quality effects and humor

2 is a way ahead of its time meta commentary that parodies the corporate bullshite that birthed it

Much like Halloween 1 and 3, I love them both for what they are and because they are entirely different
Are the dumb kids from chestnut hill ready for Georgia heat and humidity?

Not sure why. Sounds louder than most stadiums tbh. I'd say that Ben Hill-Griffin is comparable, and Williams-Brice at times. Kyle Field, and Neyland are probably louder because they have more seats

Bama and UGA were built with lower bowls that fan outward from the field rather than angle more vertically (as in BHG, Neyland, Tiger Stadium, etc). Makes for great sight lines but hampers the acoustic ability. Hence Bama and Texas both have more or less bowled in their stadiums with over 100k seats and still can’t produce the same consistent deafening volume as seats with a more vertical seat incline; it’s not acoustically able to trap sound.

Which isn’t to say Bama, UGA, and Texas can’t be loud stadiums. But the fanbases have to work harder for longer to match what more acoustically-able stadiums can produce.

Most evil/best villain Disney ever created (and with far and away the best song of any villain). Made in the 90s but has a frightening number of modern analogues (to say nothing of the history that inspired the character)

I’ve been at least curious about this one and Hokum. I adore the original evil dead movies (and like army of darkness) and the 2013 remake just didn’t hit for me so I haven’t given Rise a shot (the one Cronin directed).

Def setting it up that way with him bringing up that he was abandoned at 8. Plus they’ve been playing up the not so hush hush relationship with the hospital administrator all season long. Wouldn’t be surprised to find in season 3 that he is wifed up and has adopted a kid and has discovered new meaning in life etc etc

Loved Kevin Pollack’s character in this movie.

‘Objection.’

‘No, no, I strenuously object!’
‘Oh well since you strenuously object maybe I should take some time to reconsider.’”

I’m gonna give a weird answer:

1982 but by default.

And absolutely this comes with the benefit of hindsight but if we win in 2012, it emboldens a bad AD in McGarity to cling tight to Richt (and remember who our DC was…) for longer than need be. Kirby goes to Carolina or Auburn and we probably hire Bobo or Mullen to be Richt’s eventual successor and keep McGarity who would hve absolutely squandered the momentum of the national title in updating facilities and coaches across all sports. Any fundraising surge would have gone into a bank account somewhere and sat on as it would have proven to him we didn’t need an indoor facility or updated weight room or new Sanford stadium locker room to succeed.

If we win in 2017, I don’t know that we win a second title. It was year 2 of Kirby and that loss plus the close but no cigar seasons of 18 and 19 forced him to grow up and hire Monken as OC in 20, leading to the back to back titles in 21 and 22. Of Kirby becomes self assured in 2017 that his way is the best and only way, idk that he actually grows as a HC or program manager the way he had to to get us the two titles in 21 and 22. Hrs now having to reinvent his approach again but at least the program and the HC know what they’re capable of.
100 c suite execs is a remarkably bad data sample for them to draw from but then this is Forbes so go figure.

C suite execs don’t deal with the typical rank and file and early career programs (which is about all your average undergrad degree amounts to translating to; where and how you begin your early career). And only 100? That’s a remarkably small list of companies out of the thousands that operate across dozens and dozens of industries in the US alone.

Sounds like they just made the same prestige list that USNWR puts out but based on the popularity contest of some select boomers who are riding their gravy trains into retirement.
So is the implication here that Michigan and UC Berkeley are no longer considered public ivies? Because I’d always put UVA and UNC in that category
Horrible person but god damn it the man understood story structure and building toward a payoff
Unfortunately them leaving WWE wouldn’t unfrick the shite show that is TKO destroying storylines and relocating everything state side to Vegas
